  1. I have started to get rotten egg fumes(sulphur?) on an '09 R/T AWD with 74,000km. Happens when you stop at an intersection and especially if the engine has been running for a while. Fumes seem to "catch up" to you and enter the passenger compartment. Have tried different gasoline refiners but it doesn't help, so am wondering if the problem may be related to the PTO seal issue noted above. Anyone having similar problems or could offer suggestions for corrective action?
  2. According to the Canadian brochure, listed under Packages, Family Value Group, it states "Dual-integrated child booster seats are available as a free standing option on SXT and R/T"
  3. Thanks mjm48 for the help. I did find the receptacle in the glove box and was able to plug the cable end into it with some difficulty. The receptacle is fixed to the back of the glove box and is facing down which makes insertion of the plug awkward. However, I have been able to play the iPod contents through the radio system and that is what I wanted to do. Thanks again
  4. This is in response to the question about a front license bracket for Canadian vehicles. Picked up my new Journey on Friday and found there is no bracket just 2 holes drilled into the front bumper(stategically positioned by a template supplied by Chrysler) and 2 self tapping stainless steel screws holding the license plate at the top. The bottom is unsecured and I know it is only a matter of time before it gets caught on something and gets ripped right out of the screw holes. Obviously no expense was spared by Chrysler on this one! There has got to be a better way.

  6. Picked up my Journey R/T Friday and am wading through the manuals learning about all the great stuff that it has on it. The radio is a MyGig model REN. Does anyone know whether an iPod Nano can be connected to the radio to either download the folders onto the HDD or at least play what is on the iPod. If so, do you connect to the AUX jack or the USB port or somewhere else? The multimedia system Users Manual refers to a Universal Customer Interface(UCI) manual but I didn't receive one and have been unsuccessful finding one online. I do have a cable that I found in the glove box with 1 end that will fit the iPod, and a strange looking connector on the other end. This might be the cable I need but don't know where it plugs into the radio. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  7. Picked up my Journey R/T AWD yesterday. 4 months from order to delivery. Rides and handles well.
  8. If I ever get my Journey,(on order since May 6) I will take a picture of the front license plate holder for you.
  9. Lucky you. I ordered an R/T AWD on May 6 and am still waiting. ETA at dealer has been changed 3 times and is now Sept. 1 which is Labour Day. Fat chance.
  10. They supply front license plate holders on canadian vehicles, so they are available
  11. Just heard that my Journey R/T, ordered on May 6, 2008 should arrive by August 25. Not bad! Only 3-1/2 months if it arrives by then. Sure hope it is worth the wait after driving a Pacifica for 3+ years.
