@John/Horace Thanks for the pictures. The shop I took it to before checked the front side channels and no water was coming out. I was there when they did the test. Taking it to a dealer would cost me about $200/hour or more (Chicago). Yea, I have noticed that car new and used have been up lately. Getting down and trying to do this myself is not an option. Getting down on the ground is one thing but getting up is whole different story. 🤣 From my other post. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply. I saw those black plugs. I did a search for 2019 Journey User Guide and compared it with the 2020 guide. It looks like 2019 was the last year that had access to the storage bins. I was thinking of having the shop that was trying to find the leak remove the carpet and see if the access doors are or did they just seal them up. Even do what you said, " drill out the visible plug and then reseal it after water is removed". Not sure if I want to spend more money on this.

It looks like they may have did away with access to the bin (box). See photos. I only took pictures that are behind drivers side. Passenger side is the same way. Carpet and Storage bin (box).

From what I have researched about a previous post about water or moisture under the drivers seat there is a storage box (bin) that might be where this water is coming from. Note: I found out there is possible watering that storage box by getting down and found a plug (?) where the bin is at and felt water leaking (I think) from that plug. Tough to do for an old man. 😅 Even tougher to getup off the ground. 🤣 The problem is in my 2020 Journey there is no access to this bin that is supposed to in the rear passengers (2nd row) area. The carpet is covers the entire area. They did not add any cut away for the bin (box). Under the drivers seat the carpet is split and I was able to reach the area where the bin cover should be at and I felt what could be the lip where the cover might be. I was only able to reach that far. Is there a easy way to see if this was sealed off or still has a lid that can be opened? I may have to take it back to the body shop for them to see if it can accessed. I hope this makes sense.

Yea, I saw the foam. I agree, where the comes from is always a mystery at times. Like trying to find a roof leak. As I said before trade it in and deal with any loss I will have to take because of the leak. Again. Thanks to all.

Update. Well I had a body shop look into this problem. They put in quite a few hours. They could not find the leak. They had the carpet up and columns, door frame moldings removed. I was there when they sprayed water along the doors and windshield. I saw no water leaking, too. They said it is like looking for a pin in a haystack. To go any further it cost more hours and money. My only thinking now is to trade it in. (Later) I did put a DampRid in the car to see if it removes some of the moisture.

@John/Horace No parking garage. Outside only. Window partially cracked. Right now it's sunny and in the lower 60"s. But, it turns colder (30's) in a day or two. Just got back from the body shop. They had it for more than 3 hrs. They still have to do more work on finding the leak, if they can. I could not wait any longer. So, I will take it back next week for them to finish up. Yes. I know I should have let them finish the job. Something came up. I had no other car. They aid they will give a loaner next. That way I can leave it and I will not be without a car.

@John/Horace I do not have a hairdryer. If I did I would need at least a 50' extension cord. I live in a apartment complex. I do not feel any water on the passenger side. Under driver seat carpet is a foam cushion that is wet. Have been switching out towels. You are asking a lot to get an old man to crawl under a car. Not going to happen. 😆 That is why I will let the local shop (body/service) see if they solve the problem. I hope.

@John/Horace Hopefully the body shop can fix the problem. We'll see. Yes, I have been using towels to dry up the carpet. I wish it was sunny and warmer out so the moist would evaporate too. Still winter here. 😄 Will be asking a few people if the have a cordless hairdryer to help the drying.

@larryl Sounds like the drain tube could be under the car near the firewall. For a 73 year old to go crawling under a car is a no go. @CBD No sunroof. FYI. I stopped by a local shop and schedule an appointment they will take a look at it. Will update after their diagnosis.

@2late4u Thanks for the link. I believe the A/C tube is behind the plastic molding. I do not it is the problem since the A/C has been running. Unless it runs automatically when you turn on the defrosters. ?? There is no odor. I am going to take it to local shop to what that can do. I do have scheduled date to take it to a dealer. Will cancel it. FYI - My car is 2020 Journey SE

The carpet on the drivers side was wet. So I looked under the car and I think I may have found a crack. If it is how and where would I go to get it fixed? How long would it take to fix? If you think it may have come from some other area let me know. It may or not be covered under my Extended Warranty (CNA National Warranty). Thanks in advance.

@2late4u Not sure what you mean. I have nothing to hide. That is what they said. I am going to find some local repair shop to check the brakes out. I'm the same age as you.

Thanks. I will call or stop by some of the local shops. The car only has about 27,000 miles on it. More stop and go then highway driving. Chicago winters with the salt they put down could make then wear faster. Don't know. Not a mechanic.

@jkeaton Thanks. There is no way I could or would try. Not that mechanically inclined and way to old to even try.

2020 Dodge Journey Dealer says I need brakes and pads. They quoted me a total price of nearly 1700.00 including labor. (Chicago area) Would you take your car to an independent shop or a nationally known shop like Mavis or Firestone? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. I asked at Just Tires since they where the ones that I got to replace my tires over 6 months ago. They said they couldn't replace mine for some reason. I have no way to do it myself. So I will have to go to some shop like Discount Tires. If you remember which ones they installed please post it here or at least suggest good ones. Thanks

My driver side TPMS is intermittent and was told it has to be replaced. Would you take it to the dealer, independent shop or a national auto repair? What would be a reasonable price to replace the sensor? Would you replace all of them? Edit: Tire pressures of all tires are good. Thanks in advance.

@2late4u At 73 it is hard to get up and down to fix things like this. I will stop by a local body shop to see if they fix it and at what cost. Even if it black, at least it will not make any noise. Thanks for the link. That will be an option. Just an observation. Doing it the way they did sure makes it tough to do your own repairs.

@2late4u Thanks for your response. @Dean H I just went out there and checked each liner. All of them (liners) are behind the "L" bend of the fender. (Just like the pictures show)

@Dean H I went out to look at it. (Good thing it is nice outside) Even if I did have a trim push pin there is no way to reach behind the liner to keep it place while I attach the push pin. See pictures Any other ideas will be welcomed.

When driving I kept hearing a noise. I found the problem. The passenger fender liner is loose. I can not tell if the fastener is missing. (Probably is) Not sure if the fender or the wheel (tire) needs to removed to fix it. Either way I do do have the ability to do either. Nor the parts to fix it. Should I just take it to a Dodge dealer or maybe a local body shop? 2020 Dodge Journey Thanks in advance.
