  1. I have exhausted my searches on this forum and have found 1/2 of what I was after. I am looking to increase my tire size from the factory 225/65R16 to a 245/65R17 tire. I have installed the tire and would like feedback on the pictures. The left and right steering lock to lock looks fine. It did not have any rubbing issues. What concerns me is the height. It looks like I have only a 1/4" distance between the top of the new tire and the bottom of the strut plate. My questions that I need answers to is: 1. Would you guys feel comfortable with that distance? 2. Is the tire going to HIT the bottom strut plate when it jounces or does the tire AND the strut move in unison and everything will be ok? 3. Anyone else try this size tire on the 17x6.5 +40 offset factory rim either good or bad? I would greatly appreciate some knowledgeable feedback/responses. Thanks, Shane
  2. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want the two tools to change the transfer case fluid, you can go to Zoro.com and buy them. It took me 3 hours of looking online to find what you need so I'm going to share them with everybody on all the transfer case fluid changing threads here: 1. 10mm Metric Torsion Bit 7/8" total length. Part # Apex - SZ-7-10MM and 2. 25 degree Angle Box End Ratchet (American Made). Part # Proto - J1182T Hope this helps someone.
