Hi Everyone,
I own a 2010 Journey and I have noticed since last few months that my backup camera turns off (or blacks out) when my headlight is on. I am pretty sure it used to work before as I was able to use the camera at night with my lights on. If I switch off the headlights then it turns on the camera again. Does anyone know what could be a possible reason for this? any hints on where to look to fix this? Other things I have noticed
1. My dome lights stay on very dim when my headlights are on.
2. My dome lights on front and back all light up when I put my car in reverse gear.
Not sure of all of these are related.
