HI all, I was starting my Friday afternoon after work on my way for a road trip about 280 Kms from home. I was driving for about half an hour at about 140 kph when i noticed my temperature gauge start to climb rapidly. I slowed it right down and quickly turned the defrost on to high to try and relieve some of the heat from the engine, but the temperature kept going up. Before I could pull over to a safe spot on the highway, the needle was at max. All the coolant boiled out leaving me stranded for 5 hours. My 2010 Journey R/T has less than 10,000 Kms on it. When I took it into the dealer they told me it was a stuck closed Thermostat, hard to believe. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had any overheating problems or was this just a case of bad luck!
