  1. HI all, I was starting my Friday afternoon after work on my way for a road trip about 280 Kms from home. I was driving for about half an hour at about 140 kph when i noticed my temperature gauge start to climb rapidly. I slowed it right down and quickly turned the defrost on to high to try and relieve some of the heat from the engine, but the temperature kept going up. Before I could pull over to a safe spot on the highway, the needle was at max. All the coolant boiled out leaving me stranded for 5 hours. My 2010 Journey R/T has less than 10,000 Kms on it. When I took it into the dealer they told me it was a stuck closed Thermostat, hard to believe. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had any overheating problems or was this just a case of bad luck!
  2. I had the same problem, and took it into the dealer. They replaced all 4 rotors and front and rear pads. No more shake in the steering wheel. I think there's a bad batch of rotors out there. You might want to keep trying to replace the front rotors until the shaking goes away or else have the dealer resurface the rotors using an on car brake lathe
