Looking to install a Rockville overhead DVD player in a 2017. Any tips? I'm thinking that where the rear climate control knobs are would be the perfect place. I really don't need those controls. Does anyone know if those knobs have power wires running to them? Because the DVD player is in the screen I won't have to run any wires to the front...that's what I'm hoping anyways.

I'm looking to upgrade my stock stereo in my 2017 SE that I just bought used. The problem is the Metra kits used for the upgrade are twice the price of the new stereo! I get that the HVAC and the audio controls being in the same location are troublesome, but I'd think there would be a simple way to just replace everything above the controls. Anybody found a way around this dillema?
