  1. I guess I'm looking at a 3k bill to fix this....arggggghhhhhh!!!!
  2. Is this the Gearbox? Transfer case? or differential?
  3. While I was driving I heard a bang, then a constant knocking sound. At first thought I blew a tire because I could smell something like burning rubber. When I got home I looked under the vehicle and I could see transmission had leaked all over the exhaust. I took a couple photos of the side of the gearbox (the driveshaft going to the Front passenger tire, and it looks like something broke of the side of the gearbox. The transmission makes a horrible knocking sound, so I assume I nee to replace the entire gearbox. In Canada what is the typical cost for this fix?
  4. Thank you everyone for the replies, you all helped me a lot. I never realized that self-levelling struts had an air system attached to them, which my vehicle most definately does not.
  5. I need to buy new rear struts and the parts store asked me if my R/T had self-levelling struts. He said if they were previously self-levelling then I had to replace them with self-levelling because the aftermarket standard struts won't fit.
  6. I have a 2010 R/T and my rear struts need replacing, but how do I know if they are self-levelling or not??? or does it even make a difference what I buy?
