My car literally won't start key not detected and than my wind shield washers are going off by themselves there off lights come on sometimes other times it won't work and than it won't run it won't even go on acc or run my brakes are hard someone please help

I need help seriously idk what is wrong with my car lights won't come one they will sometimes but it won't start is it the battery in the car or alternator I literally know nothing about these newer cars

I have Dodge Journey 2012 won't start brakes are hard and keeps saying key not detected and I just got a new battery at the auto store for my key what could be the problem no codes or anything just won't run or drive
