In the case of the 2009 Journey, the percentage with no repairs is about 67, and the percentage with 3+ repair trips is about 7.

Thanks for putting a good word in, guys. We should have a partial result for the 2010s with the August update, but really do need more participants to provide a precise result for the second model year. We have 90 2009s signed up, but only 16 2010s.
As an added benefit, I recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record.

53 Journey owners signed up so far--very good for a 2009. Of course, the more owners participate, the better the information we can provide to everyone. Updated results in May.

What many people don't realize is that the odds of getting a no-issue vehicle are quite good with just about anything these days. If each vehicle has a single small repair in its first year, the model is "much worse than average."
