Ok, here's the deal I want to install a magnetic gun mount. I am going to include a piece of 1x wood to protect the airbag from damage and give a solid base to screw into I will file down any part of the screws coming out the back of the wood. I am just trying to get info on how to remove the panel so I can do this safely.

I want to install a magnetic mount under the driver side dash. Need to remove the part under the steering wheel. How is it done I see the one bolt at the bottom left corner but nothing else.
