  1. Battery is changed and idle is back to normal. But ETC light still comes on. I get three codes: P2135, P0121, P0221. I attach some images of what comes up. Please look at the charts with what is called "Absolute Pedal Position E". While the chart with Pedal position D is flat, position E is choppy/jagged. Is that normal or should it be flat also? The car is standing still and just idles at that moment.
  2. Hi! I have a 2009 2,7 flexifuel and about a year ago the ETC light started to come on now and then. No other actual symptoms. But now the ETC light comes on more and more often and the cars feels jumpy sometime when driving and the ETC light is on. Read somewhere it could be about the voltage at the pedal/throttle and that a bad battery can cause sensors to react at wrong voltage. So I changed the battery (I gave it a try since it has never been changed). The car was completely powerles when I did this, no extra power keeping the computer/memory alive. But now; the ETC light is still on and the car idles very bad, calmly for a while and then going up and down. I think I can here a slight ticking from the engine I havent heard before. So my questions: 1. What can cause the ETC light to light up more and more often? If its not the battery? 2. After changing the battery , why is the car behaving even worse? Read somewhere about the car relearning after beeing out of electrical power. Is that what is happening? How long would that take? Anything I need to do to make the relearn process a success? Thanks!
