I actually made my intake with 3.5 inch diameter tubing to get more air than that of the smaller diameter tubing eBay and K&N intake.  K&N does not make an intake set up for the 2018 Dodge Journey.  Later I actually went away with the “CAI” set up for a aftermarket tubing that runs from the stock air box to the throttle body.  Eliminating all that restrictive black plenum before your throttle body.  I also added a ported throttle body and upper and lower intake manifold.  That’s where the noticeable throttle response and power came into play.  I’ll take my setup over your proven K&N CAI any day. Lol

Nice. Where did you source those from.

  2. Searched and only found one old post with no findings. Wife and kids were on the way to martial arts class when 2018 journey just shut down.  She was near her exact luckily (tx drivers aren't the greatest) and coasted off her exit.  Throw it in park and turned it back on.  Firat time it happened.  We got it used around 25k miles on her now.  Some research shows this happening to older models. Not enough to be an epidemic but there's never a engine code to tell what exactly caused it.   Anyone find anything out yet?   I hope it was a one time thing but need to know some fixed if it's not.

Edit:  she just got home. No issues on the way here. But she said engine was still running just lost power steering, breaks and gas.

Welcome! TURBO IT! You'd be the first!

Thanks. I look for a way to turbo everything lol.  It'll have to wait a while though.  YouTube clip with an exhaust, sounds good

  5. What's up y'all. Just picked one up today. 18' crossroads.  In DFW now but from NY. Also have a srt4 neon, originally owner since it was born in 04'  was on srtforums for years.  Love dodge.  My inner fast is saying get a catback and talk to my old pals at riipmods in staten island ny about their supercharger kit lol.  But we'll see.  It's the family car.  We just lost ours this past Thursday due to surprise icey roads here in fort worth.  Might due a lower half flat black wrap though.  Not an orange color fan but this one actually looked good and was awd.
