  1. Thankyou RedTomatoman, have actually tried keeping the fob as far as possible but the head issue is certainly something I will pass onto the mechanic
  2. Hi Guys/Gals Was wondering if someone could help me. I have a Dodge Journey 2011 SXT 3.6litre The car has two issues: One is that it seems to have a parasitic drain on the battery. After 2 weeks it will drain a brain new battery. I took it to the Auto Electrician who replaced the battery however he was unable to find the source of the issue, he checked all he could think off and kept the car overnight on the multi-meter, there was no drop out all. He mentioned that it could be the computer that is keeping something on after the car has been shutdown. Is there some sort of software update the needs to be applied? The second issue is that the car has a misfire on a cylinder. The mechanic starts up the car and it will run on all six cylinder, then he would turned it off and on again and it runs on 5 cylinders. The next day the same think happens, he has replaced the coils and spark plugs but the same scenario is being played every day. Is this the computer again? This has been to Dealer where it sat for 4 weeks, after I told them that I was going to report the car as stolen they contacted my mechanic stated that one of the issues is due to the head gasket, apparently this is about 10 hours works. The vehicle is still not fixed after 6 weeks…….Totally frustrating! The car has done 81000km..Any help/advice appreciated Regards Simon
