  1. Im looking for a cam sensor diagram for a 3.6l 2015 Dodge Journey. These have a "Unique" 2in1 Cam sensor, 4 pin/way. I decided to do a rocker arm repair, got it back together and now am getting a p0349 Cam Position Bank 2 Sensor 1 Intermittent. I pulled the sensor plug off and also got a p0390 Cam Position Sensor 2 Bank 2 Intermittent. That narrowed it down to the intake side of the cam sensor and its brand new. Took voltage readings today with a back probe. Readings are as follows. Pin 1-4, 4 is towards driver. 4 to 3, 2.5-2.7V you can see the notches on the toner ring. 4 to 2, 2.2-2.4V you can see the notches on the toner ring. 3 to 2, 5V non variating, I think this is the signal voltage in. 1 to any. Dead. Not registering any or very little voltage. Engine had all cams removed for a topside overhaul of all rockers and lifters plus a new intake cam on bank 1 due to failed rocker destroying a lobe. Engine to TDC #4 to facilitate repairs as per manual. Can be one or four. With bank two alignment arrows parallel to valve head. Bank one alignment lines matched and parallel to valve head.
  2. A year after I got my DJ I noticed a clicking noise eminating from somewhere near the transmission. Dealership tried to pull the ol "Cant replicate it" so I had to go there and prove it to them. TLDR: Shattered flexplate due to improper alignment of the transmission. Seriously, are these things built by mentally challenged chimpanzies from the local zoo? Sheesh, never owned a vehicle with so many recalls.
  3. In March 2016 I got a DJ 2015 from Nebraska. Had 27,000 miles on it at the time. I noticed after taking a few work related road trips that accumulated 1300 miles per trip, the front tires looked as of someone was filing them down at a sharp angle at the outer most tread. Took vehicle in that fall for alignment check and of course stealership said "Its fine" Rotates tires and the vehicles ride became so unbearable that that spring, got brand new tires on it thinking the alignment was "Good". Now it has ruined those tires too and this time I took it to a father, son auto shop and they allowed me to watch them put the car through the tester (Never knew so many gadgets were need to be attached to each tire) And guess what....Cambers were shot so my rear end was trying to go right while my front end was trying to go left. Beings a quality turd brought to you by Dodge....DJ's do NOT have adjustable alignment. So new adjustable versions for the cambers had to be ordered + new tires. Called the Stealership and got the typical run around "Oh that tech doesnt work here anymore" and "Well we cant do anything for you because an alignment check wasnt done when the tires were put on" I told the tire shop that the alignment was fine as per the Stealership. Will never buy from that dealer again.
