  1. Hi Mal Yep, Discs! Just thought I'd be clever and use the American lingo for the majority of watchers, as there seem to be a lot of US and Canadian followers. Have you been on the Caliber Owners UK website? Interseting info on getting more performance out of your Journey by simply pushing down the throttle pedal slowly (20secs) when ignition on but not started and lights all gone off, then releasing slowly and switching off. Once started again instant improvement---I did it and it works! Please, please , read the blog in case I've missed something out! By the way, some of our CDJ dealers in the UK are pretty poor. How about this: got a service done and 100 miles later oil change light came on. Took it to dealer for reset, they don't know how to do it!!! looked it up in my handbook and did it myself--simple to do. makes you wonder what training they get? Routemaster
  2. Hi, Just thought I'd introduce myself. I own a 2009 diesel SXT here in the uk.(I,m based in Birchington on the East Kent Coast) Just like "Wolfs" its inferno red and is fully optioned with sat nav, my gig and DVD etc. I have the car on lease as a company vehicle and its covered 30k miles since June 2009. Not been without its issues (like some of your one's too, judging by the various posts I've read.) So far its had: Turbo, EGR valve, rotors, pads, wheels, torch, and is still troubled with brake squeel and a faulty alarm. Having said all that, I would not change it for anything else (and that's from a confirmed GM fan who has restored and owns a hot rodded 1956 Chevrolet bel air) Thanks for the posts, they are a useful insight and together with the excellent UK website (Caliber owners) has helped me see through the mist of annoyance and frustration. I will post some pics of "The Routemaster" as the Journey is affectionately named by my Grand Kids -for non UK viewers a Routemaster is a Red London Bus. Well, at least they got the colour right-sort of and their only 2 and 3 yrs old. Bye for now Routemaster
