In the uk we get both auto and manual options. My auto box has died so was thinking convert it. Have found out the box is a Volkswagen twin clutch unit so maybe able to replace it with another. Looking into it because finding a Dodge one is going to be hard !!

Hi folks I have a 2010 Journey 2ltr Diesel fitted with a automatic gearbox which has died !! IT fails to select gears and also slips which from what I have been reading seems a common fault on this car. So I have now been told it will cost me around 3k to fix. What I want to know is how easy would it be to convert it to a manual ??? Has anybody done this before ?? Cheers Tony
