I have the 2017 journey. I called Uconnect and they informed me that it's not impossible that they release an update for my radio to work with carplay. So I guess I will just have to keep checking.

i have the 8.4 inch navigation in the journey crossroads. Isn't apple carplay supposed to work with it? Also, there is no apps icon on the bottom of the screen like the ones listed on the uconnect website? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
