I appreciate the responses to my post but my question was really more specific: Given the design of the washer pump on these vehicles, is it possible for it to malfunction in such a way as to affect only one "side" of the device - that is, affect only the front or only the rear while leaving the other working properly?

The windshield washers on my 2012 DJ SXT are working but the stream is weak - at best it comes up to about the top of the wipers. The rear seems to be working OK (although I suppose low pressure would be harder to notice there since the rear spray is in a downward direction). Front nozzles and the line from the left-front inner wheel well are OEM and are almost 1 year old. Nothing has been done to any of the rear components. My question is this: Assuming that the lines and nozzles for the front system are fine, can a problem with the pump itself cause low pressure on only one side? I've seen posts indicating that the pump runs in one direction for the front and the opposite direction for the rear. Is it possible that some kind of problem (gear, etc.) in the pump could be causing this? I assume a clogged line filter would affect both front and rear.

I have a 2012 DJ SXT AWD with the Uconnect 4.3S AM/FM/CD/MP3 (REBS) and 4.3" Touch Screen Display (RFKP) and Uconnect Voice Command w/Bluetooth (RSP). Also included are Sirius (RSCP), Audio Jack Input (RSUP) and Remote USB Port (RSXP). Apologies if that's TMI... Has there ever been a software/firmware update to this system? The system was usable with my iPhone 6S (and other iPhones before) even though it was apparently not "compatible" with the iPhone. Now, after updating my phone to iOS 10.2.1 I can no longer connect. I had been getting a message on the phone that Uconnect is not supported (or something to that effect), although now it just never sees Uconnect as available. I guess I have 2 main questions: (1) Even though this is apparently an Apple problem, has anyone come across this before? And, (2) I suppose my main question is, does anyone know why there has never been an update to this Uconnect system? Or am I missing something. When I search for updates using my VIN all it tells me is that my system is "up to date." I suppose so, if the date were still 2012.
