  1. We have a big problem with our 2010 Journey AWD. After driving at around 40mph or faster, if you come to a stop quickly, like a light changes or somebody stops short in front of you, once your at the complete stop the car makes a loud thud and lurches forward like we have been rear-ended by a truck. Anybody have this problem? When we took it in for this problem the first time, they said the engine cradle bolts were loose. So they tightened them and they said the problem was fixed. A month later same problem so I take it back to the dealer. They now said they can find a problem so I take it to another dealer. The 2nd dealer said they had no idea what it was and there was nothing they could do. So now it's doing it bad again and I have to call the dealer again. Just looking for anybody else that has had this problem to get some background info. I would take it to a 3rd dealership but the next closest one is a half hour away in the opposite direction we travel. Thanks in advance, Dan

Yes, unfortunatley since Chrysler Corp couldn't afford to give money to the race teams, most switched. Glad to see Kurt Busch had a good race with his Miller Light Dodge. I agree, the AWD Journey is excellent in the snow BUT it's not fun in the snow, atleast with the ESP on. Can't do donuts or powerslides with it because the safety features kill the engine. But those safety features are why we bought the car for my wife.
  3. I live in the tiny town of Modena, NY. It is in Ulster county, a bit over an hour north of NYC. But very jealous of PWT357. Alaska is where I want to live. My wife is in the Air National Guard and I asked her to put in a transfer to the base up in Anchorage but she says it's too far from her family.
  4. Thanks guys!! As I said we picked it up Monday and love it so far. I don't like the feel of the brakes but she says they are fine so if she is happy then I am happy. As for the headlights, they are a lot brighter than the headlights from her Rav4. It is a huge difference. We haven't had a chance to use the wipers yet so I can't speak for those. But overall we love the car. The dual climate control is great for us because she likes it cooler and I like it warmer. We will be putting it to the test next week because we have to make a trip out to Boston which is about 3 and 1/2 hours away so we will see how that goes. Thanks, Dan
  5. My wife and I just purchased a 2010 Journey AWD SXT in Inferno Red. After looking over about 30 SUV's and crossovers, this is what my wife picked since it's going to be her car. The only frustration I have is there are lack of option packages unless you order direct from the factory. It seems you can either have a loaded SXT or a base SXT in AWD. For instance we would like to have a sunroof without having the Nav system but a car like that seemed very hard to locate. But nonetheless we both are very happy with our purchase. Plenty of storage, decent performance for my wife and very safe for the new baby so we don't have any complaints. Just thought I would introduce myself while I am here. My name is Dan and I am from Plattekill, NY. Going to be a stay at home dad soon. Have been a Mopar fan ever since I could drive. I am married with a newborn baby girl. I just signed up to the board so I will be around here for the next 5 years atleast. Thanks, Dan
