  1. This happened to me about 6 months ago. First it would just lose electrical for a few seconds then regain electrical, when electrical came back wipers would cycle, spedo what cycle like it does when you start it and that would be it. It gradually got worse to the point it would do it non-stop which would mean the wipers would run continuously, and I had zero electrical while driving. I did a little research and decided to pull the gauge cluster and I unpluged the 2 connectors and reseated them. I havent (knock on wood) had a problem since.

  2. I did a brief search on here to see if the topic has been brought up before but I didnt see anything. DOes anyone out there know if the new 2011-12 grill will fit on a 2010? Looks like it should, but I wanted to ask first before I did anything.

  3. Well the DJ decided to start beeping the horn at 230 the other morning then again at 430. Random thing that just started. I disconnected the battery at 430 and reconnected it at around 8am. Everything was fine until later that afternoon where it started again. Not sure if it was a radio frequency issue where something was interfering or what. Has anyone else had the same issue?

  4. Had mine done right before my DJ warranty expired...I took it in beause right rear was making noise and steering wheel was shaking. I didnt know only front was covered under warranty, so I had them fix it. When they were done they said that the front wasnt that bad, if i had known i would have had them do the back brakes.

  5. I would love to see this as well. From everything I have read it jut pulls straight off with some force. I just don't want to break anything.

That is correct, just pull straight up on it and it will come right off. You might want to but it in neutral to move it out of the path of the dash, so you dont accidentially hit it when it comes off. It is a piece of cake to do though.

  6. I believe the CCN is commonly known as the instrument cluster. Google "dodge journey+CCN (cab compartment node" and you will get quite a few references to the subject.
Ok, lol, that makes me feel stupid. I will look into it. How does that affect the wipers though. I had to pull my wiper fuse so I dont look like a fool riding down the street due to this.
  7. Sorry bro. I was able to rech in through the pop down sunglasses holder and hold it down enough to pop it in. It takes some work but you should be able to get. Believe me mine is staying on there for good.

  8. 255/30/22 aren't too skinny? They recommend 265/35/22 is there any rubbing at all?

No, the 30 series tires have held up well. I am actually thinking of upgrading to a 35 or 40 series once its time to change them out. And no there is no rubbing.

  9. I just wanted to know how easy it is to change the front grille on the journey? Any tips? These are the inserts I wanna put into mine.

What kind of engine upgrades are you doing to your journey?

It wasnt bad for mine. I removed the old grill and the new one bolted right in. The lower grill bolts right on to the exsisting grill. As far as engine upgrades, i have a cold air intake with aftermarket oil breather. I will be doing a catch can soon. Other than that the engine cover is painted with led lights in the engine bay.
