I work in the Chrysler minivan plant and we are able to contact our scheduling department and have our employee vehicles put in sequence ahead of regular customer purchases. When I submitted my request, they were told the journey plant was holding build of all R/t's for part shortage. That was almost a month ago. Still no VIN and my vehicle has yet to be put into production. Union in my plant has been unable to get a clear answer as to why. Just wondering if anyone has heard any rumors that may help explain.
