I have interestigly found this recurring problem around particular "hot spots" of the city where I usually park. Metal key opens the vehicle and alarm goes off, but as soon as I move the vehicle a couple of meters (tens of meters) from the spot everything seems to go back to normal. I didn't see mobile phone mast but wondered about stray induction currents from overhead wires. Interesting, my journey works for the FCC.

Fanf..kingtastic Chaps, I had a strange noise under the hood for a couple of weeks that was bothering me, It sounded as if a belt-pulley had caught sand and growled ocassionally, took it in today for tunning and the mechanic said the right motor support was done with... ¿Whats a PTO? My Journey has 34,000 km and a broken motor support (rigth one) as well. Rattling noise under the hood which I think is related to pulleys perhaps.
