Bought a 2009 Journey, can't find the passenger front-seat unlocking strap (might be inside) any way of unlocking cushion without the strap? Thanks

Does anyone know how to remove the chrome lid of the top compartment? I have a 7" GPS and would like to mount on the dash. I don't want to break anything. thanks for any help
