  1. Does it matter what year or anything like that?

not to my knowlege,i had a 2008 3.5 ho rt avenger, and as long as it s the same motor it should line up nicely, the ownly difference is the snorkle,my 2010 journey rt awd has a circle at the bottom of it(the snorkle) and my 2008 rt awd avenger had a square at the bottom of it ,but easly it can be modded to fit i took pics but the format i'm useing says my pics are to big, can't figure it out! this is the only fourm i have had problems downloading pics :banghead:

  2. sorry for the late response,i'm going to check it out today and see what gives,i'm trying to line up some window vents to,ineed someone to walk me though in posting pics so that i can show you ALL MY MODS,CIA,MAJOR VYNLE,ECT

  3. so i get my jurney back today! i was stuck with a traverse as a rental! good thing i have my 06highoutput dak just waiting to be used .the wife can use that othere thing lol!!!my dak is my baby and i don't use her much, the jurney is the every day driver :shift::lol: :P

  4. :redcard:

Yes, unfortunatley since Chrysler Corp couldn't afford to give money to the race teams, most switched. Glad to see Kurt Busch had a good race with his Miller Light Dodge.

I agree, the AWD Journey is excellent in the snow BUT it's not fun in the snow, atleast with the ESP on. Can't do donuts or powerslides with it because the safety features kill the engine. But those safety features are why we bought the car for my wife.

so who's all into nascar? and witch driver do you like?the wife likes kurt,i like tony

  5. I just put new rotors and pads on my 09 journey this weekend. Rotors in the real are solid just like they were, the fronts are vented just like they were. The pad ARE NOT ceramic, just regular. Now when i apply them there is a grumble that occurs twice during the braking. Does anyone know what is going on? If I need to replace the pads I want to do it now before the wear into the rotors. :jackinbox:

did you put them on yourself?if so how ?meaning was thier break cleaner involved?

  6. South Ga is the definition of humidity. That is what I was thinking tho.

anyway i just found grill inserts that actually have a piece that goes beside the fog lights and its all stainless steele, they look awsome, the grill inserts run about170+and thats for a 5pcs i'm going to check to see if that includes the fog light inserts?

  7. so on the jurney they have that black UGLY peace that surounds the fog lights and ,i was wandering if a person could paint that the origanal color of the car? and if so what do you need for materials? what kind of paint?or better yet can someone do a photoshop on one to see what it would look like?

  8. so i guess all it was is that the wheel wells or the front drive shaft get snow packed in and freeze and you can't go very fast,or it will start to shake ,to solve this problem take it to a car wash and wash it out(wheel well) at least that's what the dealership told me!.all i did in sted of that is put it in some where warm!!and let it melt

  9. Well they picked my car up friday. The kid brought it back before I had to leave from work. I said is it fixed and he said no...the guy in charge would call me. The guy called and LIED told me it was fixed. I am not sure if they did anything to it. I have been dealing with the misfire for over a month now. I going to call a different dealer. I am so mad that he lied to me. I did not want the kid to get into trouble for telling me the truth. I think I may try to report the guy too. I feel like he has been yanking my chain this whole time. What angers me the most is I pay a lot for this vehicle & I am never late with my payments. I also purchased this car from this dealership. By the time this guy fixes my car my engine will be shot. I really love this car, but they are making me hate it.

mine just started to shake too ,the wife is going to take it in and get it check out and it's a 2010! and we just got it in november last month! .it's nice to have these fourms so you can see if any one else has had problems

  10. I just purchased my Dodge Journey RT,AWD with 19"Kuhmo tires 2 weeks ago and would like to hear from others who have gone through a winter with snow and ice and would comment how the car handled in these conditions. Although I have a Durango with 4 wheel drive I plan to drive this winter it is inevitable I will get caught in the snow at some point this winter with the Journey. From looking at the tire pattern they don't seem to be too much of a all weather tire but I do like the way the Journey handles on dry and wet pavement. Are snow tires a must for good handling in snow and ice or can I get by with the AWD and OEM tires?

ya i just posted a thred in the AWD section it worked awsome

  11. :happy feet: so up in calgary we were spoiled with an awsome november and then we got slammed with winter in the first week in december,it was a good time to test out the AWD on the jurney and boy did she do good, with sheer ice on the road and major caouse on the streets with busess stuck sideway, cars going nowhere ,our little jurney made it home with no problems,4x4 driveing down sidewalks, becouse they didn't want to wait oh ya you should have seen it!!,sitting at a set of lights for half an hour, becouse someone had a front wheel dr with all seasons on and going no where, and that was at pretty much every corner!!but my little jurney made it home safe i'm glad i got the awd and this is only the fist snow fall!! :hysterical3:
