Its all good, my only question now is how to baked open, i already read some thread regarding baking the headlight just dont want to mess things up since this is my first time doing this. Im noob with this kind of thing but i can disassemble and put back anything as low ng as there is detailed instruction. I alread plastidip my grill, whats left to paint are the headlight and side mirrors so much dj would look like i have the blacktop.

1.Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable

.2.Loosen the front fascia on the same side of the vehicle as the front lamp unit being removed.

3.Remove the four plastic push-pin fasteners that secure the upper grille to the Front End Module (FEM).

4.Flex the fascia and grille (1) outward far enough to access and remove the three screws (2) that secure the front lamp unit to the FEM.

5.Pull the front lamp unit away from the FEM far enough to access and disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connectors from the back of the lamp housing.

6.Remove the front lamp unit from the vehicle.

I know this is almost 4 yr old thread but Im still confsed on how to take off the headlight assembly, thus the instruction above also applies to 2015 dj sxt.

there is no engine cover underneath. I see a lot of push pins, is it for the bumpers, idk..

I just want to ask how to remove front lower grille only? I already search this forum but there's no step by step instructions or is it just needed to pull out or something or I really need to take out the whole bumper. I do the research here and with google. so please dont tell me to search the forum, if there's one maybe I just missed it.

$250.00 is robbery, plain and simple. A half-hour labor is the most that anyone should pay, and it takes maybe half that time but most dealers have a minimum labor charge. DO NOT pay $250.00 for a reconfiguration please!!

yeah right, $250 is a lot if what I'am getting is just the drl. I could add more to that amount and spend it to somwthing else more valuable.

i would just wait a while and when you take a trip to another town or state go by the local dealership and have them do it.it dosent take but about 5 minutes if the tech knows what he is doing shouldnt cost you no more than 30-50 $$ at the most my dealer did it for free since i bought the car from them of course their was some problems finding a tech that knew how to do it....

Sure, since we're relocating to new mexico. Based on my research cost of living there is far more different here in ny. You know what where I came from is the dealer where we buy the car. I dont know if they know that we buy the car from them since I have no chance telling them by the minute they said the amount of reflashing I just turn my back on them before I lose my temper and make a scene. woosah....

That's just wrong. A minimal fee is ok, but 250? Dealers in our area really suck. mgdj06 please share if you find an honest and reputable dealer in our area that is easy to work with. I have been tempted to activate the DRL on my DJ but I keep talking myself out of it mainly because I want to minimize my interaction with the dealer as much as possible.

Absolutely right, My dj is from bay ridge. here in our it's money talks.

Planning to have nav with my radio but after reading this its like you'll have luck if the one installed to your dj is not the crappy one. Ill stick with garmin for now w/ lifetime map traffic update.

I just came from my dealer and tell them that I need a vehicle reconfiguration then I ask if there's a charge for that then they tell me its $250... Its just wt$. Is the price vary from some dealers, Im currently living here in brooklyn. I just said to myself, ill buy some led drls and plan a good place to put them on. Thanks anyway Journeyman425!!

this is all plug and play right just have to trim the tabs but no add'l wiring or modification needed, right?

You have 6 speakers: 1 6x9 in each door, and one in each corner of the dash. The front door speakers share the same channel as the dash speakers - no crossovers. The only speaker in the third row would be the sub in the premium system, which is also a 6x9, but it is a one-way speaker; driver's side rear panel.

I got it. So the rear portion is for subwoofer and since i dont have the premium system it is just hollow right now.

How many speakers are their if i have stock sond system is it 4 speakers only 2 front and 2 2nd row. Third row has no sound i cannot determine if there are 6 speakers.

hi I am new to this forum I just researching on how to activate or enable my drls in my DJ sxt 2015 it has an option to enable or disable in the settings menu but it wa already checked but i dont think drl is not working. how do i know if i have drls. all i have read is to give you the last 8 digit of the vin right then you can enalbe them. Is that the way it works? please help me just want to have drls on. my last vin # is ft597188.
