Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
I've spent many hours looking into the Journey, haha. I was really looking forward to an integrated option. Thank you though!
I agree that going from 4.3 to 8.4 doesn't seem worth the price. I'm going from a Neon, which is very small so the backup camera will help me until I'm used to driving a bigger car. I have been watching out for '11 and '12 for a couple weeks now and not a whole lot has changed but some have come and gone. I'm waiting to hear back from a dealer on one right now and whether they accept my offer. Fingers crossed!
I believe your post is the one I read before about iOS 8. This is one of the reasons I'm looking at an aftermarket radio. I need my music! I happened to be looking at Crutchfield yesterday and some options I liked. I just didn't know if anyone had an experience with how well an aftermarket radio works/looks on a Journey. I don't want it to be too out of place. I like the idea of the MyGig as well. It's too bad they don't have that anymore. It would be nice to have all my music stored right into my car.
Sidenote for everyone: I also see a 2011 Mainstreet for $1K more but with 20,000 less miles. What is the difference between the SE and Mainstreet? The only thing I can see from the pictures is this one has the 8.4 screen and the 3.6 engine versus the 2.4 on the SE.
