The check engine light went off after being driven for awhile. The outside temperature is reading as it should. Anyone that needs to know the voltage for that sensor is probably a range of 4 to 5 volts dc. If the voltage goes to low I think it will throw a different code p0072. Thanks for all the help

Fortin evo- all with chrt6 t harness is both a security bypass and standalone remote starter. So now with the factory key fob you can hit the lock button three times and it will remote start the vehicle with out the need to install a secondary aftermarket car starter. Check engine code P0073 Dodge journey 2012 So I just installed a fortin evo all into my buddy s 2012 dodge journey. Install went well and the bypass and remote start function as they should. At one point I had to reset the PCM and after it started throwing the above trouble code. I can't erase it and it immediately shows back up. I located the sensor and checked voltage is at 4.9v going to the sensor and when I check the actual sensor for resistance I can't get a closed circuit. What is the correct voltage for that sensor? What is the best way to determine if the sensor is toast? When we took it out of the garage and drove around the temperature jumped around but never really reading accurately. Tried to erase the code and it immediately returned. I figure it may just be a coincidence that this thing buggered up at the same time but it seems weird to me that the check engine light would be connected to this thing at all. Anyways gonna grab a new sensor and see what happens but any thoughts are appreciated
