  1. Journey was bought new,,,, definitely wouldn't call that a deal..... The motor doesn't seem to be the issue.... Looks like the traction control was cutting power to the engine because of a damaged part of the bearing that is read by the ABS sensor.... No trouble today with the ABS fuse out.. When I eventually replace the bearing, I'll put the fuse back and see what happens.... I miss the days when a computer didn't control the whole car.
  2. She lost power a couple of times on my Gf,,,, I pulled one of the front bearings today and found that the inside part of the bearing that the abs sensor reads was torn up by debris.... Thinkin this might cause it...I removed the abs fuse and I'm hoping that it will be ok.... The service AWD light is on but maybe that's because the ABS is disabled?
  3. I bought it from a scrapyard,,, not sure what it came out of but it looked the same and is a 3.6 vvt... They said only 49K on it.... I used my own .transmission
  4. Hi, I've just recently replaced the 3.6 engine in my 2011 Journey AWD, and the light in the dash for the traction control has been on every since.... I'm wondering if I may have missed a plug when reattaching all the wiring.... Does anyone know what the traction control plugs into?
  5. I thought I had everything let go but there must be another housing bolt in the back hidden behind either the trans mount or the housing for the rear drive shaft..... Looking like it may only go down through.
  6. Hi, I have to replace the engine in my 2011 3.6 Awd Journey because my 17 year old daughter thought that the temp light was just a pretty decoration like Christmas lights... I am doing this in my driveway so I was wondering if it was possible to pull the engine from the top rather than having to lift the vehicle over the engine? Thanks
  7. I have been using P225/70R16 on her for the past 2 years but I don't know if the 235/70's will clear the fenders. It would be nice to know before I have to pay to have them mounted.
  8. Hi, I have 4 good P235/70R16 winter tires that I would like to put on my 2011 Journey R/T. I know that the speedo will be off but, will they fit in the wheel wells? Thanks
