good point thanks, so do you think it would be worth to the dealer then, I just know it is all about the money with them.

My 2011 that I bought 6 months ago came that way & I have researched this thing to death, my unit never gets out of the "GARMIN" start up page & or if in radio mode it just says "Loading Maps" and it never does. Evidently after reading days of threads & trying everything it appears that it is broken. I can't afford to pay 1500-2000 for a stupid radio that will probably do it again. If there is any hope let me know, I have a schedule for tomorrow 03/04/15 at dealer for them to LooK at it, but I will not feel good if ll they do is say "replace it" & charge me. Garry

New radio, that wont happen. I did try updates & it didnt help. Called Uconnect people & they told me how to do a soft reboot & that didnt help either. Oh well Thanks

Yes I was trying not to take it to the Dealer, probably will be told it needs a new head unit. Thanks

My understanding is, yes Dodge on its Uconnect 8.4n has both the Garmin & Sirius Travel (paid of course).

I bought a 2011 Journey at insurance auction & everything seems fine except for the Garmin Nav system. There is an icon on the screen & I push it & after a while it finally shows GARMIN & then just goes to green screen. Vehicle was stolen for almost 2 months. I have researched this for days & can not find a fix. Any HELP much appreciated. Garry
