This is what I had done when the repair was being done. Can anyone tell me whats different? Keep in mind this is a 2010. Its not the stripes. Those have been done for about a month.

DING DING DING!!!!!!! Your correct. I wanted to have this done with vinel before it got hit but I felt the vinel wouldnt do good with the heat from the exhaust so when it got hit I took this opportunity to have it painted. I love the way it turned out. Now if I can have the front get hit with out it being my fault...I have plans for that too!!! But honestly I would rather it not get hit at all. I dont like knowing that its been in an accident.

Looks pretty good with it blacked out, I plasti dipped mine this weekend. I am fixing to just cut the whole part off and put some kind of mesh grill / exhaust openings diffuser.

Thanks, I love the way it looks. Let me know how the PlastiDip holds up next to the hot exhaust tips. I PlastiDiped the interior grey/silver center part of my dashboard. It looks so so so much better. If it starts peeling then im gonna just redo it with paint cause I never want it grey/silver again.
