I know this is an old thread, but this is exactly what my unit is doing now. It freezes and sometimes restarts and works then freezes again or just freezes and then restarts and freezes etc. I have checked my VIN and there are no updates available for my 2009 Dodge Journey SXT. This is beyond frustrating especially because it works then doesn't etc. Our vehicle has the Infinity sound system and from what I have read it is a pain in the butt to put in an aftermarket system; I believe it was something that the aftermarket decks can't power the infinity speakers or something like that.

Hey anyone know if the Avenger will fit in the 09 Journey?

I like how the deflectors look been looking at picking some up and your pictures just solidified my decision, now to start saving.

Hey my name is Kalyphus and my family and I just purchased our first Dodge Journey. When I say just purchased I mean yesterday. So far we love it, the ride is amazing. We are located in Manitoba Canada so the AWD will come in handy with the snow that we get and the lack of plowing our road gets during the winter. Now just have to figure out how to update software (created a different post for that). Looking forward to learning what I can do with the Journey.

Hi I am new to the forum. Have owned my Journey for 2 days now. The software version is 8.119 and Gracenotes is 881, now I have tried to follow the link over to mofv.com/mygig/ but it doesn't load in any browser. Does anyone know of an alternate place to get the updates and instructions. We bought our 2009 Journey SXT AWD yesterday and have just got into playing with the Navigation and everything and would love to update. I understand that the dealers charge for updating it and want to avoid that at all costs. I am a computer guy and know that I could do this myself if I had directions and the files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
