Morning... Has anyone installed/modified a spot for a pistol holster or even better installed a lockbox? Would like to see pictures.

Hi. I picked up these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002M3KSK0/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ..
Now the question I have is pretty lame.. .. There are both notches and triangles on the rails. Outside of ensuring the cross bars are on the same spot, what do they represent?

My 2013 Journey is fine in the month I've owned it.. And my 2005 Chylser Pacifica had no major issues in the 8 years and 110k miles I owned it and it did the Ohio Florida trip 6 times, 2 of which was pulling either a Ford Focus or a uhaul...And before that my 1996 Jeep Cherokee was absolutly fine when I sold it with 120k miles... I could go on, but the fact is that I'm a dedicated Chysler buyer and when I did the due dilligence of looking at around, felt that they still produce a far better product. But to each thier own.
I'm going to end by saying this-- Look around the roads and in the parking lots of your work.. I'm willing to place money there are more Chysler autos over Subaru. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Journey to anyone.

Hi all. Have a 2013 SXT 4 banger with factory installed roof rails. What is the roof weight limits using MOPAR OEM cross bars? I've searched a bit on line and hit around the 100lb mark.. Anyone have expirence and suggest what type of cargo carrier (ie: Bag or Box)? We will be driving from FL to Ohio for Christmas.

We also wanted a third row after selling our 2005 Pacifica (which replaced a 1995 Cheerokee) for the times we have visitors. We looked at ALL options.. Durango, Buick, Explorer, Flex, Sorento, Santa Fe, Town&Country.. You name it we looked at it, and in the end, the Journey SXT Blacktop was our pick. It's smooth, good looking, and comfortable... not to mention decent on the MPG. I'm sure everyone has thier own stories, but for our family we stuck with Chrysler.

Hello! Yes, we are. $23,700 out the door with $1,200 down. Thanks again for all the support!

Lol... By the deals im seeing from the other forum members.. I could tell that i got ripped off by my dealership. :-)
Oh, don't feel bad Chris. We went to over 5 dealers (no joke) and this one I had to dump the first salesman because I didn't feel comfortable with him. There was just no personal connection. Day two into our sales dance and he couldn't remember what Dodge we was interested in! Another dealer had a used 2011 Journey Crew at 18800 and they tried to sell it to us for 23000 even after showing them thier own internet pricing! We spent a number of weekends driving and searching.. In fact, this dealer is over 1.5 hours away from us, so it was really a hunt to find the best buy.

Thanks for all the input. In the end, this is the auto we will be picking up tomorrow, barring any dealer issues -> http://www.greenwaydodge.com/2013-Dodge-Journey-SXT-Orlando-FL/vd/15435310

Close to buying a new 2013 blacktop edition seven seater, although the third row will be used once in a blue moon when visitors are here. What is the defacto statements on how the 4 stacks up against the 6? We will be mainly city driving (lots of stop-n-go here in Tampabay) .. Will not be towing anything .. Plan on a few bi-annual road trips from Florida to Ohio .. Thoughts?
