  1. It was 95 degrees + here in Missouri this past week. I noticed something about the Journey. When the AC is on there is water dripping from behing the right rear wheel. I know it was water and nopt brake fluid because I checked it. Of course there was also the normal water dripping from the AC area.

  2. U.S. prepares bankruptcy filing for Chrysler: report

    Chrysler to lose board control

DETROIT – The Treasury is preparing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing for Chrysler LLC that could come as soon as next week, The New York Times reported on Thursday, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter.

The Treasury has an agreement in principle with the United Auto Workers union to protect pensions and retiree health care benefits as a condition of the bankruptcy filing, the paper said.

Italy's Fiat would finalize its alliance with Chrysler while the U.S. automaker is under bankruptcy protection, the paper reported.

Chrysler has until April 30 to complete its partnership with Fiat and win concessions from its first-lien lenders and the UAW, or face a cut-off of government funding and a potential bankruptcy.

The Times said U.S. and Canadian governments were prepared to provide the financing that Chrysler needed to operate while under bankruptcy protection.

Chrysler was not immediately available for comment.

  3. I just purchased a Journey and plan on towing a SmokerCraft 168 Pro Mag with it. The boat it self isn't very heavy. I'd say boat, motor & trailer might be 1200# add 200# for gear put the total at 1400#. Considering the Journey will handle 3500#. Have you read the owners manual? I found the section on the 6 speed transaxle very confusing pertainig to heavy loads.

  4. Sitting in the garage is a 2009 SXT AWD. I picked it up late this afternoon. Took the wife out for dinner so I could keep driving it. I never thought in 100 years I would nolonger need a truck. I traded in my 2006 1500 4dr 4x4 hemi for the Journey. I really like theway the Journey handles. The Ram got 17 mpg highway and 14 city. I know the Journey will get better than that.
