Hi,

I went to a Chrysler Service Center for my regular oil change & tire rotation (my Journey is now at 38,000 kms) The technician recommended a Fuel Induction Service at 40,000 kms for $199.99.

I declined and told the service advisor that I would probably have it done on my next service visit.

I checked the owner's manual when I got home but couldn't seem to find this type of service mainatenance. Is this service really required? After how many kms is it recommended to be done? Any suggestions / experiences, please?

The dealership (service) is asking me to do my maintenance every 5,000kms. On the average, I do 2.500kms in a month, which would mean I need to bring my Journey for service every 2 months. Would it affect my warranty if I don't follow the dealership's scheduled maintenance, and only bring my Journey for service say every 7,500kms or 3 months? The manual states 13,000kms or 6months anyway. Any thoughts?
