I has my rotors and pads, fronts and rears replaced at 25000 km at no cost to me, I called chrysler about the rears and the dealer replace them under the warranty for the front. I also have the extended warranty which means my calipers are under warranty untill 2017 or 160,000 km. I'm guessing the reason for them replacing the rears was to keep us happy since they did them while the journey was in having both cylinder heads Replaced because of 2 cylinders being bad. All this with 25000 km on it

Not sure what codes. They had 2 misfiring cylinders. 1&5. Replaced both heads. And some valves. Repair bill shows 10 gaskets 5 seals 6 tubes bunch of nuts and bolts and the the 2 heads. And some oil the filter and coolant.

Have had the vehicle back and put on almost 4000 Kms and so far no problems. All brakes also replaced ad everything under warranty and no cost to me at all.

Our 2010 shuddered but our engine light also came on. 25000 Kms and they had to rebuild the engine

Started a trip from London Ontario Canada to new York city. Eco read 14.4L/100km. After 400 km with no ac running down to 8.3L/ 100km. Next 450 km with ac running and some stop and go traffic for about 100km it was up to 9.1L/100km. Not bad for the vehicle size. DJ 2010 sxt fwd

I bought the same warranty on my 2010 and I think it will be wel worth it when you look at what's covered. For me anyway considering they just rebuilt the engine on mine and it only has 26000 Kms on it.

We had our journey in for a major engine rebuild to. We had the rental car for 3 weeks and it did not cost is anything. Where are you located ?

Yep, I talked to them again today. They were very reserved about replacing it under warranty. They wanted extra documentation from our Oil change place to prove the changes.

After they dropped the oil pan, they found less than 1qt of oil left in the darned thing. The service tech couldn't believe that it could possibly NOT be owner neglect. After producing all required documentation, they couldn't say no to the replacement, so the Long block is on it's way. He did state it's a full long block, the only thing to be re-used is the intake and accessories.

I'm going to make sure that the wife knows how to check her oil, and have her do it whenever she fills it with gas. I don't want to go through this headache again

So far, it's been about 3 weeks since we dropped it off. Luckily Chrysler extended the rental coverage WELL beyond the 5 days that MaxCare offers, so we won't have any out-of pocket cost for this headache. After I complained that it was taking much more time than it should to get this thing back to us, they agreed.

So, barring any surprises, we should have "Jenny" back in the driveway by early next week at the latest.

Hopefully the 2012 are much better then the 2010. I have a 2010 with 25000 km on it and it has had all 4 brake pads and rotors replaces and had the engine pretty much rebuilt. Do not like it at all

Just got the journey back. Ontop of the engine repair they also replaced both front and back pads and rotors under warranty

Finally got our journey back. The pretty much rebuilt the entire engine. 7000 dollar repair. All under warranty

To old for arbitration ? It's less then 2 yrs old. This is what chrysler instructed the dealer to do apparently. Did they buy back this persons truck for what they say it's worth or what the actual sale price was?

Two of the cylinders were " misfiring " this is the 2nd time it has been in for this. They have taken the engine apart and are replacing all 6 cylinders and the heads and can't remember everything else. The dealer has had it for over 140 workable shop hours. I'm sure it would of been cheaper to replace the engine and take the old one apart to find the root cause of the problem. The dealer or chrysler can't even tell me what caused it

What can I say. This is my first and last purchase of any type of chrysler product. Vehicle has been in service for 3 weeks now. Do not know when it will be ready an both the dealership and the chrysler Canada offices are freakkng useless. We leave for vacation on 6 days and they tell me that if it's not ready I can only drive the rental 200 Kms a day. Since the trip we are taking is 1800 Kms i would have to pay the extra Kms. And if the problem happens again while in the USA then I would be stuck there waiting for it. No compassion or anything from these people. The vehicle only has 26000 km on it and pretty much having the engine rebuilt and the warranty on the vehicle is 160 000 Kms. Thinking this was the worst purchase of a vehicle I have ever made. Gonna stick with anything other than chrysler. This frustration doesn't even include the problems with the brakes and the horrific odor from the air conditioning.

What year is your journey. I have a 2010 sxt fwd. 26000 km on it. Needs new front brakes also and was told of it needs rears and they won't do anything to call back the customer service and see what they will do. Oh did I mention it has been at the dealer in London for almost 3 weeks because the engine needs to have all 6 cylinders and the heads replaced

Had the same problem. I took the light out and it was a loose connection. Plugged it back in and fine ever since

It doesn't matter if you live in the city brakes shouldn't wear out after 30 000 km or in some cases even less

If this is happening now I can't begin to imagine what else is going to happen. Not to mention the whole brake issue

I have a 2010 journey and it has 25000 km on it. We got a notice from chrysler Canada extending front pad and rotor warranty to 40 000 km. they are replacing them. As for the rears they told us to talk to the service manager and If they wot replace at no cost to contact chrysler Canada.

Well i have been told the same thing. 2010 Dodge journey SXT V6 They cleaned the throttle body, and did the software update, 3 days later same damn issues, car feels liek it wants to stall, they told me cylinder 5 is also misfiring and now they have had the car for 5 days, and still no word. Warranty is good till 160 000 km. Not at all impressed with this.
