  1. I got a call this evening that we can pick up our beauty at 1 p.m. on April 29. Which is tomorrow!!!! :happy feet:

    :party2:

I did get the protection package. It all sounds great to me. They even have some kind of stickers that

goes on the car parts usually taken by thieves. It has an undercoating, a stain guard for the interior

and other stuff I didn't hear because I can't believe it is HERE!

    :yahoo:

I will take lots of pictures when we get her home!!!

    :camera:

  2. Talked to our salesman and he gave me the VIN. He said it will be here any day now. He has the invoice on it.

I can't be more excited. :happy feet: I will post pictures when I finally get it!!! Ever felt like the days are dragging

by? Well for me they are now!!! :violin: Sad huh?

  3. ah yes, glad you replied Roxanne

I was thinking of you when I was posting this topic, I was thinking, God, I hope she gets hers soon. She is going to hit the roof when she gets the news I got today :happy feet:

I haven't seen any commercials yet, not a big TV kinda guy

    Rob

I like watching a show called Hells Kitchen. I find it sort of funny. How people can take such abuse. Anyways it takes my mind

off of things for an hour. How long do you expect it to take? Did the dealer have any idea? I'm going to VA for 10 days and hope

I have good news when I get back!! :bandance: Keep me informed Rob!

  4. produced and in production as I type this, well that is if they are pulling 3 shifts in Mexico anyhow

I called my dealer and made mention about the Navigation being an issue and late availability. He e-mailed me back tonight (I was at the hospital, brother rushed to emerg) to say it is "IN PRODUCTION"

    VIN # 3D4GH57V09T2*****

Oh Roxanne, you don't know how happy I am,........ :mail:

    Rob :shift::shift::shift::shift::shift::shift::shift::shift::shift::shift:

I am so happy for you guys!!!! :yahoo: DARN I want mine!!! I saw a commerical for the Dodge Journey for the first time tonight.

In fact I've seen 2 different ones tonight. Both Journeys were in RED!!! Lord help me, I want my Dodge Journey!! :waiting:

  5. my wife and I are ordering a FWD SXT, brilliant black w/ beige, prem conv group, flex seating group, exterior app pkg, pwr sunroof, conv group I, & safe and sound group. We drove MANY competing vehicles, but $4$ there is no doubt this is the BEST value for the money. Also the fact that we've owned Mopar for 30+ years made the decision a little easier.

Welcome to the waiters club. Most of us have ordered and are waiting for that phone call. We put in our order on March, 26, but I have

to tell ya it feels like months ago. I can't wait to have that beautiful thing to drive. We ordered the red. I just love that color. We had a

PT that same color and it's very pretty. We got the FWD SXT also with a bunch of extras. Love the idea of that back up camera and

the remote start. Plus the chrome package and some other things. Let us know when yours comes in!!! :cheerleader:

  6. hey Roxanne, I hear ya about the torture thing. I checked with my Dealer yesterday on some things and he handed me a "dealer report" and said he was 80% sure my vehicle is being built and has a VIN. He was going to photo copy it for me til I looked at it and said I hope this one is not mine as the Entertainment group 2 was not on the order. He looked further into my order and Mine has not been scheduled yet as the Entertainment group 2 is not online yet. So there is torture, having the dealer tell you the car is being built and then he says it not even slated :censored: .

Ah well he is an incredible salesman.

as for the question, I don't know what is wrong cause the dealership here has had about 7 of them so far. The last one was a black R/T with the pebble beach Yes interior, no sunroof

I check in everday cause I drive past the dealer on the way home from work.

"I don't like it when I have to wait :waiting: ". This will be you when you hear it is in I am sure,....---> :mail:,... :hysterical:

Well at least I'm waiting in good company. It's nice to share the torture. I'm sure it will take forever, because I want it! It's not like

a bill that comes early!!!! Something you don't want. I want to call our salesman so bad, but heck I'm sure he would just blow smoke

because he doesn't really know any more than we do. I think it was wrong of Dodge not to be ready for the buyers, which they were not! :jackinbox: The Journey is just so pretty I didn't want any thing else!!

  7. My Journey came in that I ordered and I picked it up last night :D It is the SXT FWD with Premium Convenience Group, Convenience Group I, Exterior Appearance Package and Sunroof. I got it in the Bright Silver. It is raining today, so no pictures yet, but so far it has been great and I felt very secure in it. It handles really well. I did already take out the rear headrests as they were blocking my rearward view somewhat. It is going to become my "dog" car and my other car will be retired to my daily driver since it gets alot better gas mileage. I will take before and after pictures of the set up with the dog crates, to give people other ideas for it's use.

Oh how happy you must be! :D I can hardly contain myself waiting on ours. :waiting: We have never owned a car/suv like this one.

Nothing even close. Right now we have a Dodge Magnum with a Hemi and it's killing me on gas. I know this one isn't a whole lot better

but at least it's not a huge hemi V8!!! :P

  8. I'd like to know why there aren't Dodge Journeys at the dealerships to buy. Dodge has it advertised

all over the net, yet you can't find one to buy. I don't like it when I have to wait. :waiting: It feels like forever!

I wanted to go to our dealership and drive my new car home! This is some kind of torture I tell ya!!! :redcard:

  9. that is funny, cause the wife is saying the same thing here but she is going insane from me!!!!. It kills me to be waiting and all I do is surf the net looking for added info.

yup, I too am going insane cause no one wants to talk "Journey" with me. This is our first BRAND NEW car and holy hell I can't wait. The poor salesperson has no idea who he is dealing with hehehe

    signed Insane in Alberta lol!!!!

    Rob/HBT

Well this is a first for us too. We have never ordered a car. We've bought a year old car that's as close to new as we've

gotten. I played it cool at the dealership, but I've been a nut case at home. I pray the Journey doesn't let me down. I've

read whatever is around on it, which isn't much really. It looks like a dream, I just love the look of it. Please let us know

when your dream ship comes in!!!!!!! :)

  10. Welcome to the Forum Roxanne

Sounds like we the same packages, Inferno Red, reverse camera, 19 inch Chrome Rims, etc

I love driving the Journey, it rides great and has a very smooth transmission ,

Thank you so much for the welcome. I sure wish I was driving ours!!!! It's killing me to wait.

I don't wait very well. I'm sure my husband is gonna go insane with me talking

about that beautiful car all the time!! :P I just can't help it. I have never liked a car/SUV that big.

It seems all those cars looked alike for a long time, then Dodge comes out with the Journey...WOW!

I know my husband will miss his Magnum (with a hemi) but the gas is killing us!! That's a huge engine

to keep happy. His Magnum loves gas!!!! I don't feel like we gave up anything by getting

the Journey. It's big yet not to big, we did take a step down from a huge V8 to a V6, not bad I'd say.

  11. Hey Roxanne, welcome to the forum :happy feet: I am glad to hear about another Journey lover

    how long for your order?

    Rob/HBT

We were told it could be up to 8 weeks. The dealership here had not one to sell, just

a show model. We could have gone to St. Louis, but I like our dealership. You know

the whole shop your city thing. It was hard to leave with nothing but we made the choice

to shop local. <_< Thank you for the kind welcome also!

  12. :happy feet:

We ordered our 2009 Dodge Journey on the 26th of March. Of course we got it in INFERNO RED! Our PT

was the very same red and we just loved it. We got about 4,000 dollars worth of extras, nothing huge or silly.

The SXT fits exactly what I wanted. Plus some other add ons, like the back up camera, oil cooler, extra

lighting, chrome package with those nice wheels!

I just wish the wait wasn't so long.
