I had the cylinder 2 misfire also at about 18K miles. Dealer had my DJ for about 4 days and replaced driver side cylinder head which has a different design for better coolant flow. Glad it happened under warranty.

I have an REBS 4.3" Uconnect. When I browse by artist and then click an artist it shows the albums, but is there a way I can play all songs by a particular artist? iPod software has the "all songs" option above the albums, which uconnect seems to be missing.
Also, I have playlists by genres on my iPod and the Uconnect only shows the albums in that genre. I can't play a whole genre. Is there an update or anything that smartens up the iPod integration, or am I missing something?
Thanks

I noticed a slight drop in MPG, and I could feel the idle wasn't as smooth as it should be. I reset the code myself and the engine light didn't come back on for another 5-600 miles. Dealer tech said it's safe to drive but he wouldn't take it up to Tahoe, funny thing is I drove it to Tahoe and back the day before I took it in (~400 miles). I'm actually glad it happened now that there's a fix, dealer didn't ask any questions and hooked me up with a loaner quickly.
From what I gather is they redesigned the left cylinder head for better coolant flow, and the tech told me that the part number has changed around 6 times. Hope we're good to go from now on!

Old post I know, but I have 18K miles on my 2011 3.6L and I got the P0302 cylinder 2 misfire code. Brought it in to the dealer today and sounds like the cylinder head problem for earlier Pentastars. I haven't heard back from them about the leak down test yet but it sounds like a wide spread problem.
The wrangler forum has a 4000+ post thread about it.

Okay, it's just that your sticker comment was a little condescending to those of us interested in a K&N CAI, and by your previous posts it does kinda sound like you have some vested interest.

How can you the consumer control what mopar claims on its application lists?
We can't control what they state on their website, what we can do is have a little common sense and know there's a possibility the application guide is in error, and the chance that this one part will fit that many different models is slim to none. How can you say that since it is on their website's application guide that the dealer is expected to do the necessary modification to the part if necessary to make it work? Expected by who? Sergio Marchionne? I'm all for the Mopar CAI it if the fitment is correct, but I'd like some REAL confirmation, you're just a guy giving his opinion.
At least if K&N did manufacture the part we'd all know for sure it would fit, none of this guesswork and guinea piggin'. Since you're trying to convince everyone to go Mopar, maybe you should be the guinea pig.
...The K&N stickers look cool on my toolboxes.

Basically every vehicle back to 2001. How can the same part fit all those applications?
I doubt it can. I'm just hoping K&N comes out with something, cause $396 for an intake tube and filter is ridiculous anyways.

The Journey looks to be in the vehicle application list for the Mopar CAI. Part # 77060080

...then again it looks like every vehicle they ever made is on that list, doesn't seem right.

Picture please
I don't leave the rack on when not in use, but I'm going to hit the trails on Sunday so I'll take pictures then. What exactly to you want a picture of?

I've got a hitch mounted rack on my DJ and it takes about a minute to install, no annoying straps and clips that can scuff up your paint. I had a Yakima trunk mounted bike rack on another car and it was a hassle to take on and off, so I left it on all the time. I think a naked hitch receiver looks cleaner than a strap on trunk rack. Take ease of installation into account.

I've read here that the Lockpick works with the 4.3.
I have tech support emails that tell me otherwise.
-
If he doesn't want to spend $250 on a lockpick, I'm guessing he won't want to spend $700 on the NavTV.
I was replying to the OP who has a 4.3" screen as the title says, 2late4u just hijacked the thread. Looks like the C8 only works with 8.4, unless you know something I don't.

Congratulations and welcome to the DJ forum!

LOL, didn't see that result. Well, thanks for answering questions 1, 2, and possibly 4

I've done many forum searches but didn't find any specifics. I'm thinking of replacing the speakers and amplifier I have in my 2011 DJ with the 4.3" UConnect. I have some questions for anybody that has some knowledge on the topic.
1. What size speakers are in the dash?
2. Are the door speakers all 6x9's?
3. Are there any problems with mounting depths in the doors (windows scraping magnets)?
4. I read that there's an amp under the passenger seat. Is it a 6 channel amp that powers all 6 speakers?
5. Any links to wiring diagrams for my specific stereo system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Painting the deflector might look kinda cool, or make it look really cheap. I like the tinted look as is.

Thanks fellas. Glad to be here, learning a lot from these threads.

Sorry, only saw your reply now. I would say they stick out just over an inch, but not that long that it make it unsightly.
No problem dude, I installed them yesterday with the 38" fairing. The rear bar ends stick out a little more because the distance across the roof gets smaller the farther you go back, looks alright though. I think it's ugly when they stick out too far, but I guess people like the larger real estate up top.

This is just a heads up to those who have the 2011 Journeys...I know the roof racks are not included and only come with the side railings vs the 2010s and lower.
I managed to pick up a Thule set (TR4547FR) but found out after that the load bars were too short(47" are a inch short that does not allow you to put the end caps properly), although this model can be purchased through dealerships. Thule did manage to resolve the issue by sending me a pair of RB50 load bars which are 50 inches, instead of the 47 inches that were included in the package. If you look at the THULE fit guide books, they recommend the RB47 load bars; they fit near the back of the Journey, but will NOT fit the front.
The only downside is the fit of the 50" load bars is the clean look as the bars stick out now compared to shorter length.
Hope to have pics up soon with them on the top.
How many inches on each side do the 50" bars stick out? My Thule complete crossroad 50" pack should arrive tomorrow. If my math is right about an inch on each side?

I have this problem as well with a 4.3. If my car starts with the radio on and I hit the player button once, I'll be able to stream audio through bluetooth. If I hit the player button again to switch to my iPod classic connected via USB, I won't be able to switch back to bluetooth. I get the same screen Macoperator gets (in English though).
