  1. From what I've read, the cost should be approximately List minus 2000 (advertised discount) minus 2500 (margin)... I know that on my R/T, I dealt for 4000 off of list which would be about 500 over invoice. I'm not an employee, so Employee Choice is not for me i guess.

I have not done any dealing on the extended warranty yet, although I am interested. I think it is a good idea, as electrical problems could get quite expensive. I work at an agricultural dealership and we have an automotive mechanic who will do my maintenance, but these new vehicles are too advanced for him to repair.

Wait until your mechanic finds the oil filter on top of the motor...... or better yet, let him look for it for a while underneath.

  2. This is crazy! I just filled up. Avg was 20.4L/100KMS!!!!!!! after fill-up DTE was 385kms! I know my wife, she doesn't drive with a heavy foot but she does get stuck in traffic in the morning but not for long. I filled up, drove to my buddy's restaurant and back home. Total trip was about 6-7 kms max, I was FEATHERING the gas pedal and the avg displayed was 25L/100KMS. I'm starting to think that something is not right here...

You might have an issue. I just recvd my R/T last Friday..... put a wopping 200 km's on it so far in the city and the gizmo is telling me my avg is around 12.8L/100Km's. Now I am being very light footed in my driving, but I think 20 + as an avg is fairly high.

  3. Congrats Geer!! I remember how excited I was to pick up my Crew!

In regards to the VC and BT buttons, unless you specifically ordered the $300 Uconnect Voice Command w/Bluetooth option on your R/T, I would bet money that you won't have those two buttons.

I got the extended warranty on my Crew also. I got the 5 year/100,000 km warranty as I will more than likely want to change vehicles after 5 years.

What was the ballpark cost for the extended warranty? I am thinking I will do the same, just would like to know around what it will cost... I don't want to surprise the "War Office" to much if you know what I mean.......

  4. Looks like a spoke too soon as the Dodge (CDN) website has now been updated back to showing the $2,000 consumer cash and 3.0 % interest rate.

One thing I just remembered, I asked my dealer to provide me with the factory build sheet of my vehicle. When I recieved it, I noticed that, even though I did not select the trailer option, my vehicle was built with a engine oil cooler. So I guess the $200 option is just for the wiring harness.

  5. BP_Brandon - You must have a wonderful dealership to offer February incentives this month. I also placed a factory order for a new LUX model in February and asked my dealership which incentive I get, he told me when I take ownership of the vehicle and sign the contract - whatever incentive is currently being offered is the one I get.

Let me know if you get the February deal.

Hmm... I was told that I get the incentives that are offered when I order the vehicle, or if when the vehicle arrives and the incentives are better I would get those, which ever is better between the two. Now I did order the vehicle using the "friends of the fleet" program ( I work for a Railroad that hauls the vehicles) so I am wondering if that makes a difference??

  6. Looks like they have made changes.....

If you go on the Canadian Website and try to build an R/T you will notice they have dropped the $2,000 Consumer Cash incentive and raised the interest rate from 3.99 up to 5.99.

Good thing I ordered my R/T back in Feb, so those incentives will apply. Journey was off loaded yesterday from the railcar, so hopefully I will get it this weekend.

  7. Hello everyone New to the forum.....

Ordered a 2011 BlackBerry R/T with everything except for seat booster/chrome wheels and towing (yes I remembered to get the $300 Bluetooth option) on Feb 28th. My car was built on March 24 and is scheduled for transport on April 9. Hopefully the upcoming flooding in the US mid-west (almost all rail movements heading for Canada West flow through the Chicago Interchange) won't delay the trip upto Calgary from Mexico to long.

I have seen a question already on the forum, but does anyone know when the new Fascias will be put on the Journey? I'm hoping mine was built with the new stuff. Also, I agree the Canadian Dodge site is pretty weak compared to the US one. Actually if you go on the US site and build your own Journey, they picture not only the new fascia's on the Crew/RT/Lux models but if you notice they also include cross bars on the roof rack..... Hmmmmm

    Anyway... Hello Again !
