  1. I only have one baby seat in the 2nd row and I can see that you would not be able to fit two and an adult.

You can fit a smaller stroller in the trunk area with the 3rd row seats up. I have a Chicco Liteway stroller and it fits....barely but it fits.

    Hope that helps

  2. Me and my wife just picked up our 2010 Journey SXT about 2 weeks ago and so far we love it.

I negotiated to have the dealer install leather seating, Headrest DVD players and a tow bar. These upgrades should be complete later this week and I can't wait to see how they turn out.

We bought this mainly because it was too good of a deal to pass up. I was interested in a vehicle with 3rd row seating and found there weren't too many available that I was interested in. Some of the competition was: Chevy Traverse, GMC Arcadia, Dodge Durango and the Ford Explorer. I'm sure there may be others but this was our main area of focus but found that the Journey offered many more options for the money.

I look forward to learning from this board and maybe helping some fellow Journey owners along the way.

  3. I would really like to buy a factory sub and amp. Without buying a whole new system. I have 2010 SXT with the mid grade audio package. Uconnect and ipod already is installed. In the back there is a spot on the left rear. Right below the 3rd row seat, next to the led flashlight, where a "screen" is. I don't know what is behind it, but I believe this is where the factory sub goes. I don't want to start ripping it apart to find out if a sub is already there. I wouldn't think it would be a problem to purchase a factory sub or amp for the Parts Dept. at a Dodge dealership. If anyone has any thoughts on this please respond. Also I will replace all the factory speakers that do exsist.

I'm in your exact position- I would prefer to upgrade my current system to the Infinity Premium. I found a Premium Infinity Amp on Ebay but dont know if I can just plug it in somewhere or need additional wiring. I also dont know if the sub woofer is prewired. I think it would be relatively easy to find a correct sized sub to fit in the factory location..unless Dodge made some kind of special bracket.

  4. You can create the exact same thing with an off the shelf product from www.iqsmartsolutions.com, and without drilling any holes (except to route wires behind dash.) The mount is for satellite radio, but comes with gps mounts and is CHEAP...I got mine on clearance at BBuy for 5.99! Folds flat for storage, and sits up nicely when open with slight finger pressure. Dont have any photos, but could upload some if anyone is intersted...

What model number mount did you purchase? Im interested in doing something similar but want to make sure I buy the right parts.

    Thanks,

    Dave
