Well, CoastalElectronics has great customer service!

Today, they emailed me a firmware update for the LockPick. I applied the update and "boom" rear camera works automatically when the car is in reverse. Awesome! I also tested a few other things and all worked no problem, such as, DVD playing while care in motion, text entry into the navigation system while the care is in motion, playing video/audio from my iPhone through the AUX cable and the 8.4 screen. Everything works, as I had expected when I purchased the LockPick.

Now, I think I am going to bite the bullet and purchase a camera for the front of the car. I hope the "auto front camera" works without a problem.

Derivative99 after the software update to fix the back up camera now i have no sound coming from AM FM radio you? it's there just no sound.I could no see the antenna wire falling off. Please let me no i will call Carlos today thanks Mike

Derivative99 thanks a bunch you saved me from tearing my dash apart again, same problems same 2011 journey R/T (Canadian). And i thought i would get more out of my ipod touch 4th gen like pictures,movies,playlist etc hooked to my centre console thats why i bought the C8 over the C8r , I hope software update will fix all this.

It was built march 23th and it has the new front & back fascia hope this helps some & it looks great .This journey was order Feb 11th 2011

Saskguy, I dont think there is provisioning for trailer brakes with the trailer tow prep, Dodge made a large mistake, when they released the 11's, the wire harness that comes with the trailer tow prep does not work with the LED tail lights, they are trying to work out a fix, I have told my dealer if they don't have one by April, they need to either pay for my storage fees or lend me a vehicle that can tow.

This info was told to me after I purchased my R/T.

Ask your dealer because there is a update for the wire harness as of March 29th.My dealer said they will reset the computer so the lights will work on the new LED tail lights .

Like will a portable hard drive work how about the sd card can you put pictures on it or just music & how does it sound & so on.

This is & $300.00 dollar option for now if your Journey was made or ordered before or around the very end of February 2011 there will be no Bluetooth . Plus if there is no button on the top left of the steering wheel no Bluetooth , for me i found out the hard way long time ago. My first Journey R/T was ordered way back in late Nov 2010 & found out no Bluetooth around Feb 4th 2011 so on Feb 11 ordered another R/T the same with the $300.00 dollar Bluetooth option should see it in about ten days can't wait . So i hope this helps.

You are correct but its not compatible with the 2011 U-connect 8.4 touch screen as of yet, I am crossing my fingers that it will be soon... :D

I had to reorder my 2011 Journey R/T on feb 4th because any order before January 18th did not come with bluetooth like the website & the dealer said.To me make it standard and maybe save a life.Stopped at a dealer yesterday in Canada a red R/T with the bluetooth button on the left side of steering wheel and the window sticker said voice command/w bluetooth option $300.00 that was fast so mine should be here soon. 2011 black R/T 5 seater with all the toy,s.
