That what I thought. They both have the 3.5L. Wait.... It's the rim. LOL
-
Does anybody know what Dodge OEM rims will fit on the Journey?
-
Will the rims off the Nitro fit on the Journey?
-
I want a RHD Journey. but very nice. The rims look good.
-
If you can get the springs off Measure / Specs then find something close to that or order the H&R Springs and be the 1st to tell us how awesome or how bad.
-
So what engine does the AWD have? 3.5L? If so, what's the dif about the engines and what can be swapped. I thinking about the Charger Supercharge kit. LOL
-
Awesome job!!!! +110
Did you put them in the oven? How did you get them open? Been thinking about this for awhile. And the Grill. Once again awesome. Making our mommy moblies awesome. LOL Thinking about cutting the plastic grills out and doing a black mesh in the holes. Where did you get the Mopar on the grill?
-
Look up the Charger 3.5L on Youtube. Should have about the same sound.
The exhaust in the video is a Magnaflow
This is the sound I'm looking for.
The stock muffler is about 9.5inch wide x 21inch long without tip.
The inlet is offset to the inside and the outlet is outset to the outside.
Piping in and out are 2.5inch
Tip is 3inch
I think the best for the Journey would be:
3.5 in. x 7 in. Oval
Offset / Offset
2 in. inlet / 2.5 in. outlet
Part #11132
www.exhaustsystemsdirect.com
$74.14 ea. w/ free shipping
Same price on Ebay

I like the clean look in the back to, but the girlfriend like that crap back there, so we met in the middle, going to paint them a gloss black or the black chrome so them don't stick out as much. Black out lights look ok, but not on my dark red paint.
-
Not bad at all.
What was the part number for that?
-
I just looked at, very nice. Might have to.

Sorry to disagree with everyone but the chrome grill adds a touch of class. When it's painted it looks just like a Caravan.
I'm a big chrome hater, I have stock chrome rims on my C6 Vette and hate them. About to get them powdercosted black. The Chrome grill is about to be paint black on my 09 Journey cause the chrome is killing me. But that is just me.
By the way, nice look, but there is a really big gap between your tires and the fender. (H&R can fix that and still have a nice ride to it :D )
I would like to know what the exhaust sounds like (Sounds clips please)

My 3.5 also uses a lot of gas: I get only between 13 and 18 MPG.
I get about 19 in town

Cleaning the filter is impossible, you need to replace it. It is behind your glove box.
- Open the glove box completely.
- On each side you need to pull a stopper to the innner side.
- Open the glove box further, release the "wire" on the right center side
Now you will see the A/C vent unit, with on top the filter holder. Remove this, replace the filter and install backwards.
Very simple, 2 minutes work (first time maybe 10 minutes). You can also check your owners manual : Page 416.
I do not think that the filter is the issue....................................
+1 on changing the filter. My Volvo S40 had about the same smell. Nothing worked taking the smell away

EBC has a pretty good set, Crossed Drilled Rotor and Pads.
-
I've been thinking about removing the mufflers and tips. Replacing them with this:
Supertrapp
 That looks like a Motorcycle muffler. I'm getting blacked out mufflers, but hoping they don't make a lot of noise. Look on Ebay. You can find some good deals.

I love the grill. I've just been find the stupid one piece grills.
-
This help me, I didn't know how they were on there. I'm pulling mine and painting them black or maybe just remove them all together. I really like the clean look.
