2009 Journey AWD SXT
Driving my wife's Journey the other day, all of a sudden made a loud thud and some god awful noises coming from the engine also grey smoke started coming form the engine compartment, pulled over, called dealership and got a tow to dealership. Dealer ended up replacing entire PTO unit. Have to pick up tonight. Hopefully back to normal. Dealership has been great, paying for rental car since 3-10-10. Thank God for Factory Warranties (we bought the Lifetime Warranty also).

I installed a set on my wife's Journey when she first got it over a year ago with no problem. Visors matched contour of the front and back windows perfectly. If you want pics let me know and I will email them to you.

I have a set of VentVisor brand, smoke colored, still in the shrink wrapped package deflectors (2 front, and 2 back, new in package) for sale ($40 plus shipping). Let me know if you are interested.
Thank you for your time,
Randy

Has anyone thought about what might happen if Chrysler's financial problems worsen to the point they declare bankrupcy? I hate to say it but it looks like a real possibility given the current economy. Will they honor these Chrysler service contracts, or will Chapter 11/13 render them null and void. I'm worried my contract may not be worth the paper it's printed on if that happens. I've always found that the Chrysler service contracts paid for themselves (sad but true), but I am strongly considering cashing this one in and rolling the dice with the lifetime powertrain only (assuming it would be honored).
I'm a life-long Chrysler owner, so I'm sure not wishing this on the company. I'm just looking out for my own economic situation.
The same thought has crossed my mind. We bought the lifetime warrenty for my wife's Jourmey.

I took my RT in for the rubbing noise and I gave them the instructions on the overfill with the Star number. The tech tried the fix and it did not work. He was on the phone with Chrysler for some time and they have now ordered a new fluid reservoir. Apparently this is quite a large problem as they were told there is a high demand for the part. I am waiting for the part and trying to make smoother left hand turns.
I will update everyone when after the next phase of service.
Same problem here, gave service writer information from this forum (STAR # and TT#), but was unable to fix. Dodge dealer has a new reservoir on order, which by the way is on back order. We'll see what happens, time will tell.

Thanks to everyone for the great information posted here about installing a hitch. Just installed a Hidden Hitch on my wife’s Journey today. Not to bad of a install, worst part was dropping the mufflers on the dual exhaust. Has anyone came across a good wiring harness that is some what easy to install? Any help is appreciated. Again THANKS!!!
