  1. I got the slush mats for the whole car to use all teh time. Also got the back cargo mat. Not as good as they could be but will offer enough protection for the future. And again, don't order from Mopar or Dodge, hit up Ebay or any of the 100's of dealers online for these parts. They will cost you teh same as aftermarkets if you do, plus they are covered under your Dodge warrenty.

  2. On the vehicle we replaced with the Journey, it also had a sunroof. Now when you would power the car off, about 30sec later the sunroof would return to the closed position no matter if you had it vented or completely open. Now I am used to that and have been leaving the Journey sun roof open and luckily I have remembered before some storms have rolled thru but I know I'm going to forget. Anyone have any ideas, products that they can think of that I can install on the Journey to get that ability?

    Thanks

  3. i will have to dispute that. The manual and Dodge itself, along with SEVERAL auto publications say, wait for the computer to tell you. Mine has not, now not saying there isn't something wrong with mine but don't discredit the suggested oil changing patterns. Specifically you are not to change the Journey until 6k miles. Just bc in your 1979 Dodge Truck you change it every 2k, doesn't mean times have not changed. Oil break downs have been highly refined over the years.

  4. I have 3rd row and got the Mopar one, no problems. If you need to use the 3rd row you can just roll it up and stash it in teh back or on teh side if your just using 1 seat int eh 3rd row. Good plastic too, have it in there all the time

  5. I read about the wiring harness issue but could not find it in the forums ( getting tired!) so I created a new topic for it.

There is no recall notice in the Canadian gov site as yet but this was in the US site. Itreminds me of one for the Avenger that I read before buying he Journey. look it up. there are several and we may be looking at them down the road.

    The Stewie

There is a thread for this under the TSB/Recall topic.

  6. Has anyone experienced alot of shifting from 6th to 5th and back again on the highway? With is a AWD R/T and this happens on relatively flat roads and with the cruise on or off. I put it in autostick normally to stop this behavior but of course the wife doesn't. So before I put a service call in I wanted to see what the masses thought.

  7. Try the MOPAR acessory site. Odd's are that's part of the Chrome package.

And I quote myself "not even on the Mopar site". I have R/T, it's not part of any chrome package since I have all the chrome you can get from the factory. If you have the accesory book from the dealership you can see it for yourself on the first page.

  8. WOW - I am surprised that they have so many items already available.....and at good prices too.

Not that great of prices hence me gettign them on Ebay.

Put everything on the other day. Instructions are crap so unless you are handy let the dealer do it. You do need to drill for the splash guards also the front ones you need to go thru metal. Overall all ass. mentioned above took 2hr and that was taking my time and making some extra mods on my own. Plus getting to know my new vehicle from teh undercarraige a little better.

  9. I just bought the splash guards, slush mats, sunroof deflector, door sill guards and the cargo tray. Tray is nice, not as thick or heavy as I had hoped but it has some tackfulness so nothign slides around. Slush mats are nice but I wish they woudl have oversized them a bit or made the edges come up higher to keep teh water in, otherwise they are very nice. The rest I plan on installing soon, did look at all the instructions and they are straight forward, my only concern is being able to get in the wheel well with tools to drill/screw them in. Will post with any issues I face.

BTW...I ordered from browndaubdodge on Ebay, they are a local Dodge dealership to me, well other side of the state but either way, ordered all those items midday on a Thursday some came on Monday and the rest Tues so very fast shipping and very good on shipping rates when combining orders.

  10. My cruise has not functioned 3 times on the vehicle. It shows on but when you Set it nothing happens. Also either the ESP/BAS and traction control are really sensitive or there is something wrong with mine bc it has come on at least 4 time with no adverse road conditions. Anyone else hear about this issue, waiting to hear from service right now.
