Lift up on the front end of your car. It is loose. My brother put mine up in the air at his shop after trying all these suggestions and nothing worked. He just happened upon lifting up on the front end of the body of the car. That’s where the noise is coming from. He bolted it together I guess to the frame. I didn’t see him fix it. But absolutely no more creaking sounds going over bumps or thru dips!!

Sounds crazy I know but at least give it a try. One guy I told thought I was crazy til he went out and lifted up on his Journey.

My 2016 had an annoying rattle, at 34000 miles, when going over bumps. The dealer changed the sway bar link 8000 miles ago. In and out in 1.5 hours. It has been quiet since.

Does anyone have a solution for this yet? Cause I have a 2012 version and have literally replaced all my suspension parts and tightened all bolts and still no luck!

Lift up on the front end body of your car. Mine was completely loose. That’s what was making the noise. I know sounds crazy but do it, lift it. Can’t tell by looking. My brother put more  bolts in and tightened it. Noise is completely gone!! That’s after he tried everything else brought up on this forum.

  4. My 2013 had the same problem, front end noise going over bumps and thru dips for years. Brought it to my brother’s shop multiple times, and he changed bushings, control arm and  sway bar.  Problem still there. Last year when it was in his shop again he had the car in the air and happened to push up on the front end of the car. The whole thing was loose. He put some bolts in tightened it up and the noise is completely gone. Do yourself a favor and lift up up on the front end of your Journey, the would be bumper area, I bet it’s loose too. I told another Journey owner this and he thought I was crazy and didn’t want to believe it until he lifted up on his front end. You won’t see it by just looking. Check it out!!
