  1. I added the lockpick to my REN and it works great. Added a/v ports to the back of center console near 110v plug and a cam to the front bumper, really helps with parking. Still working on mounting screens in the headrests. I purchased it at www.solidsignal.com though. Cheaper price and it included the av9003 cable.

How hard was it to install? Pictures would be great if you have them.

  2. If that's the case, I'm real glad my Journey came from MI rather than hear in IL.

It's illegal to watch a video in Michigan while driving, but not in park. My Mygig with Nav and rear screen works great. I'm considering the lock pick because it is impossible to change any movie setting or start location for young kids sitting in the back without killing yourself arching your back over the front seat to see it in the rear screen.

  3. I don't know about anyone else out there, but I cannot seem to find anyone else who has the screen up top (where it is better and safer) of the stack.

I can't find a descrption of the LockPick with the screen up top.

Can anyone tell me which one I have and what I can and cannot do with it?

The screen up top only comes with the NAV system. Supposably they are the same...although i emailed the company and haven't gotten a response.

  4. I ordered and recieved one from Ebay that was advertised to fit a Journey and Pacifica and it doesn't fit the Journey at all. I really want one that folds with the seat. Dodge has one that looks like it doesn't fold up. The one on Ebay looks great, but is terrible crap and made of very thin ripable material. I'm going to send it back. Anyone get one that works great? Got pictures and info on where you got it? Thanks

  5. What's funny is while I was trying to buy one in the lot a friend of ours bought it out from under my without knowing. I'm glad though, because i ended up ordering one and got the better end of the deal with Nav and some other options that his didn't.

Also, haven't seen more than one, then one day I come out after my tennis match and bam...there is one parked right next to me...same color, different interior.

  6. Sorry, can't help on the downshifts...I live in central Michigan and I can see about 300 miles straight away as we have some of the flattest land in the world...the biggest hill we have is our driveway.

However, I have noticed the excessive shifting a lot. The 6 speeds really make the Journey shift way more often than I'm used to.

  7. i have the mudflaps on order also, are they a dealer install or do yourslf. thanks.

Mud flaps are very easy to install...please don't pay a dealer. Usually they line up with holes already in the well and you just screw them in. I haven't gotten them yet for my journey, but installed them on others.

  8. update: it arrived!!! well, not exactly, but I have a brand new Journey.

The first two that were ordered showed up without Nav - exactly why I ordered one int eh first place since we coulnd't find Nav anywhere.

So at the last mintue, my sales person locates one 130 miles away and gets it to me last night. This thing is awesome. I'm so happy I got the Nav. There are so many options that it will take forever to learn how everything works.
