  1. OK took me awhile to get back. Had a lot happening. After removing the mufflers the DJ sounded great but had a drone in the cabin between 2000 an 3000. So I just went old school and put a Cherry Bomb glass pack in this weekend. Man this thing sounds perfect. The glass pack is installed just before the split at the spare tire. Got a Spectre CAI universal kit that I'm tinkering with, but I think that I may be able to get it to work. If I can figure out how to post pics I'll show you what I've done so far.

  2. My Journey is a 2013 sxt. I don't believe that this should void the warranty because neither the actual mufflers or cat. Converter are being tampered with. All the resonators do is limit noise. They have nothing to do emissions. The 3.5 I was referring to is the outside diameter of the tips. This size fills out the rear cut outs very well. I'll tries to post pics as soon as possible.

  3. We'll I finally broke down and removed those. Unsightly resonators in the

The rear. Removed them and added 3.75 tips. I was a little concerned that I would get the high pitched whined at open throllle. But the sound is more like a v8. If you have been putting off this mod on your Journey wait no longer it sounds awesome.

  5. I am a 2010 Journey that I bought in the US and recently shipped to Germany (in the Army) I got it up to 120 on the Autobahn going from Regensburg to Munich - about an hour and 15 minutes when going 120 :) - and I felt no vibrations or shakes. It was surprisingly smooth. Adding cold air intake system, some iridium spark plugs, voltage module, a performance chip and a fuel molecule module over the next month. Hoping to get better gas mileage. I as getting around 18 MPG at 120, which is very nice, but I want to see it around 25.

Will post pics when all parts are added. Also slapping on some brand new KMC Slide Blacks 18 inch rims and thinking about getting some lowering springs for it, along with smoking out the tail lights and doing a light tint on the front head lights.

Will be debadging it tomorrow and once all modifications are done will be putting some custom badges on it. This will be a one of a kind Journey that you will not see anywhere else ;)

Anyway, morale of the story, at 120 MPH, my car drove like a Benz, smooth.

Just wondering what king of performance chip you are going to use. I haven't found one for the Journey, but I'm wondering if the chip for the Avenger might work. Since it has the same engine and tranny. Let me know what you find out.....Thanks

  6. Just thought I'd give my opinion. I have the Husky front mats & cargo liner. I feel that these fit better than anything I have ever seen. the front mats fit as snug as a glove, there is no way that they will ever shift. They turn up on all sides so nothing will get on the carpet. they are moulded for each individual vehicle. Bought mine from The prices are very reasonable and shiping is always free. If you would like to see photos let me know and I'll try to get some posted.

PS: Im going to go ahead and order the second row mats next.
