  1. Got into situation where DJ is our first car where my wife with small foot cant drive it nicely.

She got many cars before and never ever had any issues.

So the problem is that brake pedal position is much higher than gas pedal, so to push brake pedal she has to take her foot completely in the air.

This is absolutely inconvenient and unsafe.

Asked friend who has DJ for years, he has big foot size, but he mentioned same issue for his wife.

I am seriously looking for ways to lower/adjust brake pedal position. Dealer told me this is impossible.

  2. I disagree. Have my son on 3rd row happy - he is size of small adult.

Had my father-in-law on 3rd row - he was pretty happy - he is above average size.

I have car seat on 2nd row.

The issue I observe is how my mother and father in-law exit and enter the car - it seems like a pain for me. Mean from 2nd row. I just cant watch this - seems very uncomfortable.

This is one thing I would better have minivan for.

  3. Cont.

Was able to find I have smaller rotors, check calipers - single piston.

So I need to change both rotors and calipers for front.

Back I am still not sure if I need calipers to change. Continue investigation.

For other people Centric part numbers:

    pads:

    front - 105.15890

    rear - 105.15960

    Rotors:

    front - 120.67074

    rear - 120.67075

    Calipers:

    front right - 141.67069

    front left - 141.67070

  4. I am lost,

As far as I dig into this, I feel more and more misunderstanding.

So far I understood bigger and/or smaller rotors are both suitable.

However on the forum I read, guy changed to bigger rotors together with dual piston calipers. I have single piston calipers. So it means I would need to change calipers too (

  5. I am looking so far for Centric, after reading tons of reviews.

My friend recommended Acebono but they dont make rotors.

I also assume it would be better to replace rotors rather than resurface them.\

So dealer insisted I need rear 305mm rotors/ while 2 online resellers already said 328mm is your size. I m lost.

    Front - 302mm or 330mm...

Ascended69, My mechanic will do brakes job. I can ask him for sure.

  6. Need to change pads and rotors on 2012 R/T.

According to dealer my VIN number indicated car was built in 2011 so brakes are BRF, so smaller rotor size.

I discussed new Centric order with JC Whitney and they tell me that I need different rotors.

Can anyone who knows this help me?

    Will this fit?

Any other good quality brakes recommendations? (I read all forum topics)
