i bought a 2010 journey with factory installed remote starter.

vehicle starts ok with remote starter , the radio comes on but the heater does not come on until i turn vehicle on with key.

is this meant to be what happens or do i have a problem. i think there is a problem

Everything should work, just as if you had started it with the key. Including the heater, which is kind of the main purpose of remote start to me.

what color is the cargo cover? If it is black, then yes I am interested. How do we go about working this out?

People actually use the rear wiper enough to wear it out?

i recently purchased the 5 seater gray/black interior and have not been able to find a cargo cover. any suggestions.

I have one. Just got my 5 seater about 2 weeks ago. It has grey interior. I'd like to get $200 for it, and I'll pay shipping to US. Let me know if you're interested.

If so, how do you power them on and off? Can't find anything. Also...what it is handle beneath the glove compartment?

I remember reading about two months ago someone had a cover they weren't using and wanted to sell. Do a search and you should find it, but maybe it has been sold by now.

Just wondering what you get if you don't add this option. Anyone? Also, does anyone have the GPS option...if so, how do you like it?

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the advice. I think we're probably just gonna hang on to the Caliber for a few more months, so we can get a little more off the trade-in. I think we're probably slightly upside down on it right now. I'd like to hang on to the cash I've got...so the Journey is a little out of reach right now, as far as the payment we're shooting for. Hope you guys enjoy yours, and I'll just have to look forward to mine a little bit longer.

Been going back and forth with the Internet sales guy on this car. He's telling me if I want the "special" finance rate(which is 4.9% for 60), then I have to give up the rebates. I haven't asked what kind of rate i could get WITH the rebates...I thought 4.9 was kind of high for a "special" anyway. May have to find something with fewer options.

Hi, I'm currently the owner of a 2007 Caliber SXT. I'm considering trading for a '10 Journey. I was wondering if any of you guys had owned a Caliber before or had any experience with one and could make a comparison. We like our Caliber, but our first child is on the way, and we need more room for the baby and our mastiff. My biggest problem with the Caliber is the road noise and rough ride...has this been resolved with the Journey?
