  1. So you wouldnt have to wash it all the time you should've considered getting the car for nano diamond coating. water just drips down and doesnt even make a mark, harder to have scratches, stronger paint and the best thing is you dont have to wash it most of the time. dirt just comes off with a towel!

    Anyway, I'll have a look at those waffle weave towels. I have a leather-like chamois which I bought for like 50 bux. which I don't like at all. ;(

  2. If I'm just going to use air to blow the water off, I might as well get out my compressor and blow 150 PSI air at the car.

    Instead, I use the Meguiar's water magnet towel.

    What is that water magnet towel? is there a link online that you can share?

    I miss washing/waxing my car (I only do these 1-2 times a month now. :( What I do is just get a soft wet cloth and another soft dry cloth to remove all the dirt. (thats why Im interested in the name "water magnet")

  3. I was just thinking that the export DJs might not say AWD on them, since the model nomenclature is different. Good idea, though.

    Yeah I have seen some people here say its an AWD. but couldn't find the sticker (talk about believing on what you can't see - I can't just drop down and look at the bottom of their car :) )

    FWD is good: less things to break, less maintenance, less weight (which equals better gas mileage) :).

    Yes. which comes to a question of, can it go up a snowy road? (mountain/hill)

    Also, I noticed when I did some searching in google. (even on dodge site) only the 2+L are FWD. and the 3.6L are AWD. I don't know if this is the case thought. didn't have the time last night to check the drive shaft (if there's one on the rear) as it was raining so hard here. WIll try it later when I get home.

    Thanks guys

  4. Better yet, save the knees and just take a look at the rear of the vehicle;

    AWD Journeys have the letters AWD prominently displayed on the rear of the vehicle. No letters? No AWD!!

    Will it be the same in different regions though?

    Look underneath and see if there is a drive shaft going to the rear wheels. It is a completely automatic system, so there are no buttons/switches/levers inside!

    Will do that when I get home. I reckon its just FWD though.

    Thank you for the info guys. cheers

  5. I too used to be cleaning my "dark one" every week. (not every day :P). Because we bought it new, and I got fed up in winter trying to clean it up (because I like cleaning it myself - manually, I don't trust machines or other people doing it. might leave scratches :) ) We got it for a crystal coating. One of my friends have a friend that does this on their yard and they gave me a discount. It was like 700 bucks. (this is half price) But after that, You wouldn't have to clean it that much. Now, I just spray it with water and clean it with my trusty cloth. all the dirt, bugs (i mean everything) just slides off! Now I only soap wash it every month. Not even waxing it as its shiny as hell :)

    (EDIT) I forgot to mention, with crystal coat its more resistant to scratches as well
