I have searched the net and there is such a poliferation of devices and opinions out there that it is hard to decipher.
I would like a little more up and go without fuel economy sacrifice.
Has anyone any expierence with performance chips or on board computer re-programing?

The valve train seems a little noisy to me. Has anyone else noted this?
I have just under 10,000 km on my 2010 Dodge Journey RT/AWD and had one coutesy oil change at the dealer which I presume used the standard 10w30 at 4100 km. I drove for about two weeks to use this as a flush then drained the oil and put in 5w50 full synthetic.
I have just change the oil again at 9257 km after a trip to Florida and back.
Any comments?

Just changed the oil on my Journey after the computer told me to do so. 3400 miles. So how the F do you reset the warning? I've tried the method in the owners manual:
1. Turn key in ignition to "On" without starting the car...
2. Depress accelerator fully 3 times within 10 seconds
3. Turn key in ignition to "LOCK".
Did this like 10 freakin times to no avail. Computer kept giving me the "Oil Change Required" each time I started the car. What am I doing wrong?
Anyone?
Thanks!

This proceedure seemed to work for me and clear the message on my 2010 RT AWD

People have to be more specific on their post title and post description'
It's not much good to just say NEW JOURNEY
Life is busy enough without clicking on a bunch of threads to read stuff you seen a 100 times and know.
I will click on any link that I think I may be able to help with or may be able to gain knowledge and insight, otherwise they get passed by.

I CAN'T WAIT TO RECEIVE MY SANDSTONE SXT WITH CONVENIENCE 1 AND SUNROOF,FACTORY ORDERED 3 WEEKS AGO. I HAVE A NON ELECTRONIC KEY FOR MY SOON TO BE TRADED CARAVAN WHICH I BLACK ELECTRICIANS TAPED TO A ROOF BAR WHICH NOBODY HAS EVER NOTICED AND HAS SAVED ME TWICE. QUESTION? IS A BASIC KEY AVAILABLE
Yes, if you look on page 13 of your owners manual there is a brief expalanation of the key FOB to open the drivers door. Only the drivers door has a tumbler lock.
This would only help you though if you had your Key Fob RKE [Remote Keyless Entry] hidden inside the vehicle as you can only operate the ignition with the complete RKE FOB
I can email you the owners manual [2010-Journey-OM-1st.pdf] but it is to large to upload here.

2010 Journey R/T AWD ready for the road and I would like a service manual on CD or .pdf download. There is a link here were you can buy for $120 but I am hoping this community may have one to share.
Service manuals are not available at the dealer anymore as mechanics are all online to a Chrysler server for service and my service manager said he can not download to a hard drive or CD\DVD. My dealer use to lend me a CD to take home and burn a copy. I have 2006 Jeep Liberty manual on CD if anyone needs a copy.
Has anyone found a download for a Journey Service manual. I would lie the 2010 but will settle for a 2009

I use to buy a shop manual for all my vehicles so I could have reference if I wanted to remove any moulding to run wiring for aftermarket acessories or educate myseld if I had any concerns.
I just ordered a dodge 2010 Jouney RT and when I asked my dealer for a CD of the Dodge Journey shop manua,l they are all online now and Chrysler is not sending out CD's
I have searched on line for manuals and have found many links for the owners manual which will come with the vehicle.
If anyone has any electronic manuals or links I would appreciate that they can share.
